good clean rooms comfy beds .friendly staff value for money.can be a bit of noise till after bar closes but you are staying in a pub
bit of a help youself breackfast but for price ok
The staff were very helpful and friendly
After travelling for six hours was looking forward to relaxing in the bar with a nice meal and cool drink my husband had to walk the town looking for something to eat and somewhere to park the car, breakfast in morning is toast or cereal which was disappointing
The owner Daniel was a good host for breakfast and for my seven am wake up call. The room and en suite were very clean and were ideal for the stay that I required.
Another guest smoking in their room and setting off the smoke/fire alarm at silly o'clock.
Friendliest staff I ever met Rooms were pristine Beds were comfortable didn't feel lumpy or old
Good location nice bar
Toilet cistern waste and water system
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean room & bathroom.
No free parking. Beware saturday nights could be noisier because of Pub.
Good sized modern Family room. Pub lively and located short walk from restaurants and Bars. Staff friendly. We would stay again.
parking on street. music from pub my disturb families with young children
every think but the loud music
Friendly staff & ppl in area. Quiet area Shops a walk away Cafe across the way & pub with entertainment karaoke if looking for any. Quite happy to stay at the bar or eat in st Ives inn. Couldn't fault the welcome or help we had. I am planning on going back there when I visit my friends again.
No over night parking was only issue we had. Ok on a Saturday from 6pm otherwise nowhere to park by inn. Keys didn't work but they helped so wasn't too bad
Rooms were new bed comfortable but you couldn't sleep for the band and music till midnight and then the clean up noise.
The pub had music all night till 11.30 pm. After all it is a pub. I should have known better. This is not your average B&B. fights spilling over to the streets and drunk and disorderly patrons.
Rooms weren't bad.
Being locked out of hotel. Came back from a wedding at 1am. Was told that back door would unlock. It didn't, I only managed to get in to hotel/bar area due to another couple being locked out of main door to rooms. Had to wait 45 minutes and had to bang loudly on door. Staff didn't seem to care.
Location. Tidy and clean. Staff an locals were friendly.
Breakfast was poor and unorganised. Car park was open off sight. Did not like that.
the room was very nice modern clean tidy
loud music shaking the floor from downstairs untill 12 reqested to pay £3 for parking- there is no parking at the place they ask you to park round the corner in a council run carpark to pay £3.40 wich only covers you untill 6pm on the day and the sign says any cars laft after 6 will be fined we were told it was ok the parking atendent would not be coming round later in the day and we should run round there at 8am to get another ticked for the next day ? in the morning we went for breakfast continental style- the botle of mike i used for a cup of tea was a day out of date the barmade pointed this out after i had allweady used it so she knew this before u used it but left it out ? i had opened a yogart it had curgled it was TWO weeks out of date i looking at the others out of 8 4 were 2 weeks out of date the other 4 were a day out of date but were still curgled ? the bar lad was abruped re the parking when we got there there was workmen outside the bathroom window we were told they would be done later and they were but the window was left open outside the window is the roof to some of the bar and were the ventilation drages the bad air out of the pub and with the window open into the bathroom and room its self the window lock was also not screwed down and so there was no real room security through that door lookily we did not atempt to eat the yogurts or we would have been ill throughout our trip
the bar staff and serving staff very friendly.
the lack of info. were not told what time breakfast was. bathroom not cleaned. could not find manager as noise from upstairs went on till 6 in morning. Turns out it was the managers guest. having to get up to put money in meter. Have to use public car park, cannot arrange permit for a couple of days.
Friendly and helpful staff.
It was more like a bar with couple of rooms in upstairs. Loud music until 12 pm, impossible to sleep before that. Unclean, no towels, no luggage room (we asked and were allowed to use the cleaning closet for that).
The room was very comfortable Convenient location
We waited 45 minutes to get checked in because the lock was broken on the door of the room we were to be sleeping in. The credit card machine was broken.
Good value. The staff were very polite and helpful.
The shampoo sachet was pretty poor. No milk with room tea making facilities. The floor of the pub was sticky. The parking arrangements made no sense.
New rooms, nicely furnished, comfy bed.
Noisy. Upstairs noise, street noise all night. Ear plugs is a MUST!! Stuffy, humid, no air con. Breakfast not prepared and no one around to ask.
Very clean rooms which appeared to be recently refurbished.
No TV in rooms, it's a long time since I've seen that. WiFi didn't reach the room was was available in the (noisy) bar. No breakfast
Bit noisy in the morning when they were changing the beer barrells
Having to pay cash, no tv, not having towels replenished.
Room was great, bed fab, shower clean, staff helpful, good price.
Music downstairs was super loud! had earplugs so it was ok. Don't stay here without earplugs or if you're here for a relaxing time.
Arrived to find no parking. Dog was not accepted even though the room had been prior arranged and breakfast not included either when it had been paid for. Hotel changed terms and conditions and did not notify me. Had to find another hotel.
