We took our two grandaughters for half term break. Supervised craft sessions and activities and the swimming pool kept them both occupied and happy. On the evening there was great family entertainment. The food was good and the hotel very family friendly and in a good position overlooking the sea. We stayed b & b but there were lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. The pool was a bit too cold for my liking!

The location is good and the buffet food was good. Nice breakfast. Good staff in restaurant. Room was in nice condition although the thin walls and creaky doors take away from the nice room experience. Staff were friendly. Plenty of car parking and just a short stroll to the town centre and pier. They had no hot water...boiler broken down and it was going to be off for up to a week! Compensation offered was two free drinks which I thought was disgraceful and so I made further complaints. The staff seemed to understand but clearly didnt have responsibility to allow what I would call comparable compensation for no hot water in the room. Although the rooms were good the pillows were awful....me and my travelling companions all had an uncomfortable nights sleep. I stayed in the annexe and all the doors squeaked and slammed....deadful.... The walls were thin(I could hear snoring from the next room) and all the floorboards all creaked....Overall the hotel is tired and lacking proper attention, disused sunbeds litter the back of the hotel, broken walls and damaged pavements everywhere, a filthy old paddling pool at the rear looks disgusting and there is a derelict kids volleyball court that is just a complete eyesore. It needs a good sort out and a shame that a hotel with a good past reputation is obvioulsy suffering from a lack of TLC. Carpets in public area's were well overdue a clean as well. Very dissapointed...and of course we didnt have a shower as the water was freezing.

Excellent food plentiful selection Original room booking in room 67 of the annex requiring exit from the hotel down a long passageway into a low ceiling clausraphobic bedroom. Would not recommend it to anyone let alone my elderly father who needs a stick when walking. Fortunately he managed to transfer to a room in the hotel which was excellent.

Very helpful friendly and approachable staff, clean thoughout , loads of information on local interest , the hotel is very child friendly , which is nice to know it also has a high range of offers on staying again at the hotel ,rooms are tasteful , clean and comfortable. There is an extremly high quality of choice in food in the restaurant menu and plenty of it which left us very impressed . also efficent staff in the restaraunt, a very well run organised hotel all round .. We had a room over the disco , which when on a first romantic break was mildly inconveinent , but the music was of our taste so we did find it slightly amusing . it would of been nice to be told that we had a room over the disco , the only other thing on arrival we wern,t actually told where the facilities where in the hotel , I suppose the staff naturally thought you knew ....

A good value for money family hotel with a good location providing a proper balance to suit all ages. As a mature couple we normally take our holidays out of term at adult only venues. However, this was an opportunity to join our family and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We would certainly do it again. Well done! J Bone

lovely clean rooms and good position for all attractions without being too near the blackpool crowds. the only thing we didnt like was the hotel caters all for children the entertainment at night was just for the kids it would be better if the kids disco finished at 9 then the adults could get on the dance floor without kids running all over it as my mum and dad love dancing but not round kids on the floor and through the day the hotel just let kids run round all over the hotel we would not book this hotel again just for adults.

most things are brilliant, but the food was extremely poor. not enough fresh choice and variety. and some things were over cooked. the entertainment for the children was not very good. and the hotel decor could do with an update. we have been using the hotel for over ten years and this was the first time we were disappointed with things.

I thought the staff were fantastic ,nothing to much trouble for them, which is rare these. Days.if you have kids then they are well looked after.felt at ease ,no one looking down their noses at you.would go back with my 2year old. Granddaughter no problem, she would love it here.breakfast was good, only ate a snack, but vie for money.overall really enjoyed my stay Can'T. Really think of anything except,if you. Have a seaview room don't go to bed early as you can hear the music for the entertainment.to be fair they did tell us and asked us if we wanted to change.

The hotel is very child friendly, the entertainment is fantastic for the children in the day and in the evening, The food at both breakfast and dinner was great plenty to choose from. The drinks from the bar are good value unlike some other hotels. The staff are all friendly and its a lovely relaxing atmosphere in the hotel. The bedrooms could do with updating.
