Was very clean nice decor great location
the WIFI did not work. Additionally, the bed was ROCK hard, your better of sleeping on the floor.
very clean ++ close to underground and buses
very noisy poor soundproofing very bad bed.....mattress need to be changed
I know some other comments said the bed was awful, but even though the futon was hard, my daughter and I slept very well!! Another comment was about the noise - yes, you could hear the street sounds, but for me, I liked it! It made me really realize:. I am in london!!!!!!! I liked the kitchenette. We didn't intend to eat-in, so it was nice to have tea in the mornings and evenings.
I had a bit of trouble with the lock box upon arrival to the flat.
-reasonably close to public transportation (underground, overground train, buses) - close to a big shopping center and to food shops
- WIFI with very low connectivity and seldom not available - room lower than road level and lack of privacy with curtains and windows not closed; open curtains and windows necessary to get a minimum of esternal light and fresh air - noise from street traffic - noise from other rooms; very little isolation
The location is great. Right near the Notting Hill gate area. 5 min walk from Holland park avenue tube station, while I could just take a 20 min walk to Kensington palace. Great neighborhood and security
The bed is pretty stiff..
Proximity to trains, buses, shopping & restaurants at Westfield. Nice area with great cafés and restaurants.
Bed was too hard and would be better with 2 pillows each. Shower would have been better with hand held shower head as I could not avoid getting my hair wet! And it was very small.
Location and the freedom to come and go as we pleased. But especially not being tied to a breakfast time.
The room was noisy especially the week nights. Having to keep the windows open because it was very hot didn't help. The bed was very uncomfortable. This bed took hard and firm to a new extreme.
Well located for train stations and local shopping and dining. Although advised that room would serviced only once a week it was cleaned and towels replaced mid stay. Hair dryer available. Coin operated laundry available. Nice decor and good storage.
Some missing crockery and cutlery, no toaster, irons available to borrow either didn't work or leaked. Bed was very very hard and uncomfortable. Traffic noise (management obviously not to blame for this!). Checkout instructions told us to leave key in drop box in entry but this could not be found. Apparently there is a slot well above eye level but a sign or arrow would have been useful.
Worst bed I have slept on in years - rock hard. No fans or air conditioning
The room was an adequate size.
Recommend not staying at this property. Made reservation 4 months in advance and asked for an upper floor room. Received assignment to a basement room two days before arrival. Requested a different room but none available. Noise from the main street and subway below kept us up at night. Subway trains vibrate the floor. Only way to try and sleep was to wear earplugs. Bed was very hard, a wood platform with a thin pad. Linens changed only once during our 8 day stay.
The apartment was small but very comfortable and very clear. We really enjoyed our stay.
Close to transport
I had a great stay thank you.
Great location and close to the central line and overground trains. Very large room, with good kitchen facilities.
Bed was uncomfortable, the two of us felt like we were either going to roll out the side or we ended up on top of each other. Someone had left the towel rack heater on so it was extremely hot when we arrived in the room and took all afternoon and night to cool the bathroom down to a comfortable temperature.
Narky neighbour, didn't like any noise past 11pm.
The location is really good as there are metro stations nearby. The bus stop is almost right outside the door. The room seemed spacious and the kitchenette had everything for cooking. The bed is quite big and comfortable.
There was no one that would clean the room or change the towels so it got dirty over the week that we were staying there. I wouldn't have minded cleaning up a bit myself but there were no brooms or anything like that.
Nicely situated on main street and Central line. Park, restaurants and Tesco within easy reach. Helpful staff. Fairly quiet environment.
We stayed there for 4 nights and they said they will only provide cleaning service for 7 nights or longer stay. No toilet paper replenishment. Not so good for lazy people.
The appartement at the lower ground floor was unbearably noisy. It was impossible to sleep. When was asked for a change the guys were polite but did not help indeed. We left the hotel after one night. After our meeting with the manager promised a 25% refund that we havent received yet.
Amenities close by really nice area pics were accurate, on the central line and it smelt clean
The location is very good, there are many buses to the center and the tube is closed. The apartament is very nice.
Nothing special. To say something. I miss a mirror in the room and the bed could be better.
Location : near tube station - There are sime good cafes and shops to be enjoyable. We walked to Notinghill from the apt. It was another lively memory to explore the shops.
1..Bed- was too worn and mattress was awful. Could not sleep( almost nights awaken). I felt strong backpain. 2. Ventilation - it's located in basement then inside air was not fresh. Tried to open the window but gave it since i didn't want to come in some air from the bottom( road) I decided never to find an economic room
Loaction was great, 5 mins from Holland Park / Shepherd's Bush tubes. Nice pubs nearby.
We arrived to a not very clean room with a towel soaked in urine. When we called to complain there was no apology just an offer to change it "if we liked". Bedding had seen better days too.
The location is outstanding aside from the physical location literally ON the road (one of the busiest in central London).
Where to start: I requested a room on a higher floor and when I received my room reservation I received a room in the basement. The windows are thin and the window frames extremely poor quality which translates into almost all the street noise coming into the studio. Moreover, in the basement you can hear the subway/tube/underground rumbling below until just past midnight. I'm not picky but the sheet provided for the bed was loose rather than a fitted sheet for the mattress and as it was too small it kept coming off the bed revealing a used/dirty mattress undrrneath. I called the manager on duty to request a different room. Unfortunately they were completely booked but they made no attempt to apologize for the noise from the street and I mentioned you could hear the underground they accused me of being a liar. Regarding the sheet when asked for a fitted sheet they arrogantly laughed and told me no one asked them for fitted sheets and if I really wanted one I had to email them. They only change the sheets and take out the trash once a week so anything else is self service. Lastly, I found four insects which looked like mini cockroaches in the kitchen/bathroom. I travel to London every month for work and this is the worst establishment I have ever stayed at with the most arrogant/disrespectful management I have ever encountered. Do not stay here and please do not give your money to hosts who treat their guests lsupreme indifference.
All amenities available and clean apartment. Nice location which is not too far from the centre but much quieter than busy central London
Basement apartment had very restricted view of outside from the high windows.
