Excellent service staff. Large well-appointed room, including large modern bath. Excellent air conditioning. Great location for sightseeing and access to London Underground ("The Tube"). Breakfast was a bit pricey for the quality of food. (But this is a minor quibble.) |

Its position It is not true that airconditioning system is controlled from the room. Actutally the system is not strong enough when there is a very warm climate in uk. |

The Sofitel St James is a wonderful hotel. It is not cheap but considering the choices in this area of London is a 'value'. The staff and the services are perfect. To save a little money have coffee/breakfast at Apostrophe 2 blocks up on Lower Regent St and lunch or dinner the Spaghetti House one block over on Haymarket. |

Perfect location for the London Marathon, as it is walking distance from the end, and lots of facilities put on for the runners. Very courteous staff. Very accommodating reception team. The Brasserie was very friendly with excellent service, but the food was perhaps a bit disappointing for such a prestigious venue. Cold breakfast coffee,was an example. |

Despite informing hotel several hours before due arrival time that I would arrive 24 hours late for my 3 day stay they still charged for day 1. TV in room did not work for first 24 hours. Gym was temporarily out of commission |

Location is extremely good, within 10 minutes walk you can reach most of the interesting places of London. Staff is very supportive, lobby bar staff was great! You do not get value for your money. Comparing other luxury hotels of Europe or London the room is too small, window was looking onto the appr 4 m distance office building, where people were working, very dissapointing. |

Excellent service from attentive staff.Public spaces and bar French chic,oppulent but also welcoming.Good sized bedrooms finely decorated with great bathroom. Restaurant under one of the Roux brothers' banner was excellent great food fantastic breakfast!! Very good position Ultra convenient. Great Hotel will stay again. |

The comfortness of the beds - like heaven! After walking around all day long it was a pleasure to relax. And we liked the calmness of the breakfast room, and the friendlyness of the staff. We missed after all the spa... We very much missed the presence of internet access. In this time and age it is not acceptable, that it was charged with 1 minute = 1 pound. That is very much out of standard for a modern, highclass hotel and next time we will chose another place where internet is selfunderstood. It is really important for us. |

Perfect location for New Year, everything in walking distance, close to Trafalgar Square, easy access to Embankment for fireworks and New Year day parade passed front door...not to mention the hotel festivities, plenty going on in a stylish, refined way. We were only there 24 hours but thanks to location, facilities, easy relaxed feel of the hotel it was the ideal intensive enjoyment hoped for. |
