We found that hosts to be very gracious and extremely helpful when my wife needed to see a doctor. The breakfast was superb and our room so good we stayed an extra night we wished it could have been an extra week but time was limited

There is nothing negative to say about this place.

It is very clean and the breakfast is very nice. The staff is friendly. Although I was late for the check-in time, she was still waiting for me.

Breakfasts wonderful.

We enjoyed our very brief stay in this b&b. The food was excellent with so much attention to detail. I require gluten free food and this was provided for me with no fuss at all. Even the gfree bread was homemade!

The room was spacious and lovely. The food was lovely and the bed, I wanted to bring home.

The parking was poor, there were three parking bays, but they either had big plant pots or traffic cones in the middle of them so we had to park at the bus stop down the road.

Cheerful, friendly, helpful and excellent vibe

The owner was friendlier and more helpful than one you would expect. Apart from a warm welcome we received an upgraded room, which was not only clean and comfortable but also utmost beautiful. The owner arranged parking space in front of the building and gave us a nice selection of breakfast options.In all, we enjoyed our one night stay and highly recommend St Johns Lodge.

The front of the building doesn't necessarily indicate the high standards of the inside. Although the breakfast met the quality of those of 4 star hotel standards, the delivery was quite narrow (8:30 -9-15 am) and the buffet wasn't topped upped mid time.

Very pleasant staff and room was very comfy. Nice privacy, breakfast menu is excellent and well organised. A short walk to all the shops in either direction, great spot for being close to restaurants, pier, etc would recommend and would stay there again if we go there again. Read the reviews and they lived up to them.

The room was excellent and finished to a very high standard. Both Barry and Susan were extremely friendly and caring. The Breakfast menu was better than many 5star hotels

Very helpful staff who were informative and interested in your visit to the area. Lovely breakfast from a huge selection including fresh fruit and cooked options.

Size of the room and its position on top floor especially as we had heavy bags. Room was very hot despite opening window and turning off the heater

The staff were very polite and curtious and full of local information. The rooms are spotless and very quiet on a night. The breakfast is superb and there is such a wide choice. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for 2 nights with my daughter and we both found the lodge comfortable, spacious, friendly, good location and a very nice choice of breakfast to kick off the day!

Can't think of anything other than a bath would have been nice along with the shower!

The Rooms and Lodge were spotlessly clean with attention to detail given to soft furnishings. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and the breakfasts were delicious!
