Set in over an acre of gardens, with views over the river Teign Estuary, this Georgian rectory is only a 10-minute drive from the Teignmouth beaches and serves hearty breakfasts. In the morning, guests can savour a cooked breakfast made using locally sourced produce and free range eggs, and lighter options are also available. There is a restaurant and a pub a 5-minute walk from the property. All uniquely and tastefully decorated, the bedrooms have large sash windows and some have a free-standing bath. They also all have a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities and some rooms have views of the Teign Estuary. St Johns Manor is less than 30 minutes’ drive from Exeter, the English Riviera town of Torquay and the countryside of Dartmoor National Park. There is free parking at the property. The house had a peaceful, friendly atmosphere thanks to the hostess's skills at creating a beautiful, comfortable and welcoming place for her family and guests. Nothing.

Fabulously set in the Devon countryside, this immaculately presented B&B boasts manicured grounds, spacious rooms and a great host whom caters for you very well. That we did nt stay another night!

Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with lovely views over the river. The house has a relaxed,smart feel to it and is very clean and well cared for. We were unable to access the Internet from our room or the sitting room,despite being given a password.

We loved the warm welcome on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for the guest house owner Carey - we had fresh milk and water brought to our room every evening and even left us wine glasses and brandy glasses! it was a joy to stay here in such beautiful countryside in such a lovely house. We looked forward to our cooked breakfast every morning which was yummy! we will be going back.

This is a beautiful place to stay. It is immaculate and elegant. We stayed in a huge room with wonderful views. The décor is tasteful and it was spotlessly clean and fresh. The owner is extremely warm and hospitable and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and to make sure that our stay was really special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area.

the whole atmosphere and friendlyness was very relaxing, exelent service and shortbread and options in are rooms where great. size of the cups in are room, needed to be bigger.

Location, Beautiful building, nicely decorated & very good breakfast All though en-suite, bathroom was separate to bedroom. This was slightly inconvenient and was not clear at time of booking.

Very friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Food well cooked and very tasty. Bed very comfortable. Room clean and well presented. No temperature control in shower. No loo brush. Windows rattled and gathered a lot of condensation over night.
