Staff were very friendly; lovely historic building in a lovely winding small street near the harbour. Lots of good restaurants nearby and good bus service. Breakfast was very basic, would have like yoghurt and croissants but was adequate/\.

Staff were excellent. Comfortable with no frills but clean and tidy. Great location. The only thing we didn't like was that the shower in en suite was erratic in relation to temperature (failed to maintain a consistent temperature). That said, the friendly helpful staff more than compensated for the shower issue.

The staff were really lovely and helpful. The beds were comfortable, the room was cosy and warm and a good size. The location was fantastic and the breakfast was great. It was also very child friendly - a great place to stay. The noisy people above our heads, but luckily they went to bed early on the second night.

Definately the friendliness of ALL staff. Smiley faces would greet you in the mornings, made you feel really welcome, take time to hold a conversation with you & full of knowledge about the area/island. Also went that extra mile as we were celebrating our son's 13th birthday there.

Staff very friendly, catering fully and most efficiently with all our needs whilst staying at the hotel. Lovely character building, with our spacious room having direct balcony / terrace access with excellent sea view across St Aubin Bay. Lack of hotel bar facility due to our stay being outside of main holiday season.

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was excellent. We had a very uncomfortable mattress so we lifted up the bedding to find the middle had colapsed and was padded out with a blanket. We never found the proprieters during our stay and was disappointed that there was not anybody to report this too. We found the guesthouse to have no real family feel which is what we would normaly expect in a guesthouse and we should of been able to speak to somebody other that the one young girl serving breakfast.

It was a lovely warm, comfortable, friendly, welcoming guesthouse where nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly staff. There were people staying there who had obviously been there a few times before, judging by the greetings they got and the conversations they exchanged. They were welcomed like old friends. The guesthouse was in an excellent location on a very quiet road that had a slight incline, directly behind the main road from St Aubin to St Helier, 2 minutes from the restaurants and nightlife of St Aubin. The buses on the main road are very frequent and very reasonable, (£1.70 to go to the Airport and takes about 10 minutes to get there). We will be definately visiting again and will be recommending this guesthouse and it's surroundings to all family and friends. There was nothing to dislike about the St Magloire guesthouse, and anybody who found anything to dislike must be a very fussy person.

The room was clean, spaceous and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were good, consisting of cereals with fruit and then a full English, enough to keep you going all day. St Aubin is a nice place to stay and a good base for exploring the island. The shower over the bath was unpredictable and needs replacing by an electric shower.
