Room is too small.No lift.
Location is good
Blanket and bed linens were not clean
New customers should bring their own bed linens and blanket then they will be happy here.
no lift, thin walls, tiny space
only the location
Disappointed with breakfast. The room was in the basement & incredibly tight/small area. No seats to sit. Be there first! Offers of boiled egg, toast, plastic cheese, cornflakes or muesli. We skipped & chose to get on with our day!
St Marks is in an excellent location, the hotel is clean & acceptable for the rates based on the location being it's greatest asset. The only 1 staff member we met was the gentleman on reception who was a little shy i'd say but helpful, friendly & welcoming. The rooms are clean & for the price we paid just acceptable here. Bathroom modern & nice. Overall good value for money for a night or two but only for the location only.
Look, let's not get ahead of ourselves here and understand this hotel is a budget hotel. So do not expect the Ritz. It is exceptionally clean and tidy. Very well located. The staff are excellent and friendly. It's in a safe area and it's extremely good value for money.
The hotel has no lift so it's quite a nightmare if you stay on the top floor which was what I got when I checked in. I was moved to the ground floor when I complained.
The location of the hotel is very good. Just a short walking distance to earl's court station and that makes it easy to get around in London. Nothing luxurious about the room but if you need a clean and ideal location in London, then this hotel will work for you. The best part for me was the fridge and the microwave. It saved me quite a bit on feeding.
Our room was right outside the reception which didn't feel very private.
Great value for money
Great last-minute deal in an excellent location. Clean, well-kept room, friendly staff, in-room kitchen facilities basic but great for my needs and kept to a high standard. I was only in town for the night but would love to use this hotel for a longer stay in the future.
breakfast was great and the room was surprisingly quiet
Small shower room, paper thin walls, paid internet which is very expensive
microwave and fridge in the room, close to the tube station..
Wifi wasn't free
Room is a bit small and shower is way too hot.
Location is excellent. Ideal for those on a budget.
Service was excellent and good location for museums. Self catering microwave and fridge in room , good supply tea, coffee and milk, very good, as was large shower. Clean towels , room cleaned and bed made every day, comfortable bed, stayed two nights. Would stay again, excellent value.
No lift. Breakfast time ends too early. Staff has to learn to smile. Tea cattle works not all the time.
Very good location, 2 min walk from underground, but in a nice quiet street.
the breakfast was poor
excellent localization and the room. very good relation price/quality
Should be written in Booking.com that you have to pay (an it's not cheap) for WiFi. Breakfast is not international.
Wifi was not free - who does that anymore?? No elevator (however, it is a short building, only 3 - 4 floors, so if you travel light, it's a good exercise. If you have 3 suitcases, better not try it. I was lucky to get an adaptor for free from the reception otherwise (I think it was the personal one of the lady working there). She did mention that usually I would have to pay for it.
Location. In a posh neighbourhood, decent area, felt safe, even at night. Room itself was not very modern, but it was good, we had 3 singles and I slept perfect. The staff was nice, one lady even gave us an adaptor for our European chargers.
Well worn out hotel, seen better days, small rooms, no A/C, horrible breakfast - if you like toast, butter, jam, cornflakes and cheapest orange juice then you will be OK. Considering price level this should be much, much better.
Excellent location, 3 minute walk to Earl's Court tube station
Our journey was in march 2015 but it was so hot in the room (3rd floor, english floor!) that each night we slept with the window opened. Unfortunetly my husband had his feet off the sheet and it took cold on the last night (fiever, etc). He 's tall but not too much and the bed is a bite to small for a 1m81 guy!
Room is simple, It was enough for us. Location great (earl's court station). Breakfast simple, fine (cereals, toast, jam, butter, orange juice,...) just the Cadburry chocolate is not good at all!!!
Staff tried to help but was not very experienced and well informed on general tourist questions. Arranged a departure taxi in night on arrival already but if I would not have checked the same day, no taxi would have arrived. Also the one arrived was not an official taxi... Very weak breakfast and huge cost for wifi..
Close to metro, easy access to city center. Changed towels every day.
The shower in room 20 had mold in the roof. To small breakfastroom.
Wi-fi 2 Pounds per 1 hour.
Good, not expencive room. Enough qwiet. Continental breakfast (3,5). Kensington rather nice place, and safe.
Egyption man in reception(disrespectful)
