the location! lightness and design of the hotel.. A good city hotel. Attitude of stuff esp. at the bar... I missed a relaxed lounge with nice drinks etc.. The restaurant is too big and unattractive. The room i got was on the 3rd floor and not as requested on a high floor..

Great location. Wonderful Staff. Still the same old Stark design that need updating in the worst possible way. My room, being so small, was impossible to navigate with luggage. No one seems to overlooking the restaurant because the food was not good. Someone also better be watching out for the cleaning staff because my bathroom was not only starting to fall apart but was not very clean by my standards.

Friendly staff, excellent room, but we were attracted by the modern and different look of the hotel. We were particularly pleased with the extra touch for our room. (25th wedding anniversary) - Rose petals on the bed and floor, candles and a bottle of champagne in the room. We would definitely come back, and the location is excellent for the centre. Only slight disappointment - the windows were not lit in the colours shown on the website, but that is really picking at a small point. Everything else was superb.

Design & funky. The Gym and location. Bathroom amenity. Stayed for five days, didn’t receive any personalised service during my whole stay... My room was on first floor, very noisy facing a small street. Had delivery cars from 07:00 every morning waking me up... They need to certainly do more in terms of service delivery, stayed at The Savoy last time, and will go back there.

Right from check-in, the staff were so hospitable and friendly & helpful... Felt instantly at home...so three cheers for the staff at St Martins... Also the restaurant Asia De Cuba has really awesome food & a great vibe.... The rooms were very comfy..& the location - perfect & central with nice places to eat just around the corner.... Amazing stay..!! Actually there's nothing I didn't like ;-)

-The closeness to major theatres, the Strand,Trafalgar SQ and major spots of interest. -The availability of a Car Park. This is of major interest for the customers who are on short trips to London to attend the theatres/visit areas of interest from the counties/shires. - Improve the direction and signs to the car park. - The hotel could maximise attraction of these shortstay customers with cars by offering free parking for the first 24 hours. - Please review the Uniform for the Receptionnists. It should reflect the colourful appearance of the hotel. They looked as if they were at the undertakers. - What was the tiny clock on the recess at the headboard for? Why not a larger wall clock to replac the ridiculous flower pot?

We received an upgrade upon checking in which was very much appreciated. The room is very simple, clean and relaxing. Loved the design and lighting. We had some yummy truffles delivered to our room on our first night, in addition to a hand written welcome note. Richard helped us up with our bags and was very friendly and pleasant, giving us an introduction to the hotel and what it has to offer. The bed is very comfortable and big. When we returned to the room in the evening someone would light a candle for us in the bathroom. Loved the elevator music. Location is fantastic. I asked for a 1 hour late check out on our last day there from the reception via the telephone twice and i was bluntly refused twice without so much as a sorry or unfortunately not. I got the same response of "Latest we can do is 12" which is check out time anyway. I explained we had a lot of luggage and needed to head to the airport just one hour later but i received the same repeat of the response above.

Very 'trendy' decor, and free upgrade to garden room, with patio area. Fair sized room. When hot water was requested from room service, it took over an hour and 4 phone calls to come, which was a shame, and marred an otherwise really nice stay.

Location was great. Generally, staff was v friendly, helpful, etc. Great restaurant= Asia de Cuba. Well designed room. Very clean. Nice products. The small tea candles in the bathroom were a great touch. The safe didn't work. I had to call a couple of times to get it fixed. The hours of the gym were short. You had to go outside the hotel to get to the gym. The TV contol/menu was a bit fiddly.
