A trendy understated class hotel...with a design edge! Amazing restaurant and bar where people watching is a must..and the food- well try it for yourselves...divine in Asia di Cuba. The rooms are contemporary comfort and the service friendly and welcoming. Top notch!!!

Even though opened more than 10 years ago, still looks good. One has to pay 10 gbp for internet while other London hotels offer it free of charge. :(

This was the smallest room I have ever stayed in, there were not even bedside tables, because there was no space for them. There was a desk with a chair, the chair could not be used as it could not be pulled out!

The staff was responsive, the decor was interesting. The restaurant, for breakfast, was disorganized, staff seemed harried, hurried, and hassled but polite and helpful. Frankly, we think you need someone very experienced in organizing things.

The hotel is fantastic and is a piece of design architecture the hotel staff were excellent and the restaurant is top notch I also highly reccomend the adjacent cote brasserie my only con would be the size of the room which even after I upgraded to luxery suite were extemly small but still I find it worth while taking into account all other factors and specially the location near covent garden at the end of the day I highly recomend it

Location is perfect, just a few steps from Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq. and Covent Garden. Leicester Square tube (Piccadilly line) station is nearby. Very helpful staff. Nice restaurant, too. WLAN/Wifi should be free everywhere nowadays!

The location was absolutely perfect for our needs. The hotel was chic and clean. The concierge was exceptional, kind and informative. We had just checked out, but left our bags so we could shop for the rest of the day. It was pouring rain and we needed an umbrella. No one could find me an umbrella to use and we had to leave the hotel in the pouring rain.

What makes the hotel unique, apart from the virtuosity of philippe starck, is the super-organizations, or the practical smart minds of the staff that magically transfers your requirements into acts in few seconds. The people are very friendly and polite. The atmosphere is so smart. In our room, there was a small garden, unbelievable to have in the centre of the city of london. Small presents make you feel special. People and ambiance is in accordance with the expectations regarding london, the centre of design :). it touches the senses...

The hotel was Contemporary and minimal designed to it. The service was excellent and made me feel welcomed. The room service had the 15% service charge plus addictional delivery charge which I didn't agree with.

As soon as you walk through the door you feel welcome, all the staff are polite, professional and very helpful. Our room, although smaller than you would expect for the price, was perfect, with everything you needed.For us the location was key, only a couple of minutes from theatre's, restaurants and shops. We would definately stay again and would highly recommend trying their Raspberry Mojito. If I had to find fault, it would be that the air conditioning in the bar did not seem to be working very well, however the temperature in the bedroom was fine.
