Quality of breakfast was pilot for additional monies.
Good evening meal
wifi was frustrating.
The staff were nice and freindly, the facilities were good
The room was nice and clean, but is in need of some updating eg the net curtain was ripped at the edge and the silicone was was all lifting around the edge of the bath. Small things but it did let the room down.
The room Was clean.
Food was really bad !!! Very poor service! I won't come back . It's 2 star rate from me. Very disappointed . Expensive, bad food, bad service. :(
Top breakfast, perfect location for work in Callington. Wish I could have stayed a bit longer.
Fire alarm went off at 3am but it happens.
Luke warm baths. Mildew around shower screen and bath. Each meal I had wasnt hot enough, whether room service, restaurant or breakfast.
The hotel staff and facilities were good.
The breakfast choice was very limited compared to other hotels and this was disappointing. The lodge was VERY dated and desperaty needs refurbishing.
The spa was the highlight of a weekend away, small but very professional and warming.
The bistro restaurant food was over priced and almost inedible, and apparently "full" when it was clearly empty!!!! The flooring in the corridors and the rooms creaked at the lightest of steps making it almost impossible for anyone to walk around quietly, a pain when your trying to sleep.
Food not great, room like a traveloge even same colours?!? Not sure how this is 4 star? Stay in hotels a lot this wasn't impressive real shame all round , apart from lovely friendly staff
The hotel is in a very good location to explore. The room was nice and reasonably clean.
The hotel is dated and only reasonably clean. The spa area was out of order. Freezing water in the pools and Jakuzzy. The staff were discussing customers and generally not polite. The dinner was poorly organized, tables dirty.
Wifi was a bit hit & miss in the furthest rooms
Location fab! Serious swimming pool and leisure pool!
Restaurant slightly expensive
Very good service
Zip in the middle of the bed
Rooms were spacious and comfortable
The bar had a children's area/ crèche which was noisy. Another location for the crèche in the hotel would improve the comfort of residence using the bar.
Warm, cosy, close to Plymouth or East Cornwall =. Good amenities. good for mid-winter break.
no mobile phone signal. internet not great.
Very good hotel
Working within a hotel myself, you never really know what to expect. St Mellion International Resort exceeded our expectations and was the perfect night away before knuckling down to save for our wedding. We would most definitely return.
Relaxing after build up to Christmas
Uneven quality of service and unavailability of menu items
Bed wasn't very comfortable but ask for a topper!
Spa facilities are fantastic!
Restaurant has got nothing to do with courtesy. Shared space with pub footballers fans were defenietly not what we expected. We regret that we haven't chosen a local restaurant instead. Food is amazing but served in overrated pub environment!
The extra facilities if the spa and pool.
Bar was noisy
Staff very helpful and pleasant. Clean and tidy hotel and room, good breakfast
The hotel was amazing and the staff were excellent
The food was a let down. After high expectations and the great welcome we had at the hotel we decided to dine in the bar restaurant. We were very disappointed with the food. The creamy garlic mushrooms had no cream or garlic. The dauphinoise potatoes were far from it and after paying £7.25 for what could only be described as biscuits with a slither of cheese was somewhat of a joke.
Food was very poor
