Good rooms and friendly staff.
nice rooms, nice atmosphere
Restaurant service terrible, food very poor considering, lets the hotel down
Staff very polite, friendly and helpful. Fantastic atmosphere great facilities value for money. Very pleased.
Like this place, nice friendly staff and pleasant surroundings. Food not too bad either.
Nothing all is good
Staff helpful, food delicious and a lovely setting, would recommend
food and location staff really friendly
wifi, kept dropping out and had poor signal
The noise of the air conditioning was a joke and I couldn't sleep through it
Good location excellent facilities. We were only their overnight but used the pool (one decent size one for children and one to swim in).
The beds are very big but extremely hard.
Loved the view from our balcony.
Sadly we had communication difficulties with the restaurant staff both at dinner and breakfast. Had to keep chasing for our orders. It seemed we were not understood, which was quite frustrating and no apology given for delay. Shame because overall the hotel is lovely.
The brasserie was appalling. The manager has not trained his team and it is not up to a 4 star hotel level. The food was below average.. The list is too long to go into... I suggest quick turn over of workers. They looked like they hated their job and didn't know how to serve people. The pay I suspect is bad! Beer was cloudy and flat. And numerous other things.... Water in hotel cold when wanted to have a bath! Excuse we are full at the moment.. Too much demand on system! No wifi at all .....didn't work the whole time we were there. There was hoovering going on in the lobby whilst there was a function! The carpets are tired and need changing. 2 star is all I rate it. Won't be going back. Poor management
Very friendly and helpful Beautiful view Good sized swimming pool, leisure pool and other sports facilities
Never been to a resort spa like this before where they give you 1 medium sized towel! Breakfast mediocre
Staff were polite and friendly. Pool and gym were good.
Food wasn't particularly exciting and expensive for what it was. Hotel had strangely "springy" floorboards. Every time someone walked passed the door the furniture shook and vibrated in your room. One night a child kept running up and down the corridor and we had our very own mini earthquake!!. The corridor carpets could do with a good clean.
Comfortable room, good bar polite and helpful staff.
Shower head was faulty worked but sprayed all over the place.
Comfy bed and nice dark room Pool and other health facilities Location
Restaurant was only half full but service was slow - though staff were friendly and food was good. The wifi was far too slow most of the time. Early in the am was better but kids wanted to Skype their mum but couldn't as too slow
Value for money is excellent the facilities are very good and the rooms were great. The breakfast was very tasty and all the staff were polite and courteous an excellent hotel that at the price is unbeatable
The only negative is that the wi-fi was terrible!!
The sport , nice swimming pool
Steam room and pool were very clean as was our room and en-suite. Staff VERY attentive.
Kiddies play area so near bar but having said that no children were there at the the time.
Friendly staff Cleanliness Nice rooms. Food Golf facilities Spa and pool Ample free parking
Bar can get a bit boisterous and put diners off.
The staff were friendly and efficient. It is a clean comfortable hotel with good facilities and very good food. The massage was excellent. I will return.
The pool was often busy.
we have been a few times before and stayed in Hotel, always good and we don't play golf, this time had a few days in a bungalow which was very cosy, comfortable and quiet. Used amenities in hotel as usual, very relaxing,
only downside is that in the Brasserie large numbers of men only groups, making a lot of noise, and the large loud parties take over the bar and are always sat next to the couples or small tables of 3 and 4 in the dining area which means that you can't even have a conversation, staff need to think out where they seat large groups, one drawback no wifi in bungalows and it didn't work in brasserie on 2nd night so had to go to sports bar to get on internet and this was a very noisy bar.
The convenience of location and the size of the lodge were really good. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen facilities were most adequate. The facilities in the hotel were good and the buffet style breakfast in the hotel was adequate.
The lodge was very 'tired'. Poor cleanliness - we found long dark hairs from previous occupants in the sink and bath. maintenance required on sealants etc. Complimentary bathroom items out of date. Shampoo expired in 2011!!!!!!! Broken blinds, sauna not working No information in the lodge about facilities and times of restaurant. No internet /wifi in the lodge Failing double glazing, lights missing under cupboards in kitchen. External guttering requires looking at..full of leaks at joints. The view on to a half finished building site that had obviously been left for sometime due to the amount of overgrowth and dilapidation of the part built units. It seemed as though the lodges were a bit forgotten about!
We stayed in one of the 1 bedroom cottages at the hotel and although dated everything worked and it was incredibly spacious, and tremendous value through Booking.com. With a Tesco or Waitrose a few miles in either direction there was no need to leave once settled. Would definitely recommend it and are planning on staying again
The only downside (this isn't a negative comment ) was the cottages were a 5-10 minute walk from the resort complex, on the plus side they were very tranquil.
Room was clean Reception night staff were helpful Waitress (Lauren) was polite and helpful
Restaurant Manager (Borja) was extremely rude & unhelpful
lodge facilities beauty
No entertainment not even incidental music. No lights on road to lodge and it was very dark.
Staff. Surroundings. Stlye. Value for money. room decor. Balcony. Views. Cleanliness.
Food was cold and lacked quality both times
