This is the dirtiest hotel I have ever been in, and I've been to many all over the world. Cobwebs running from main light to corner of room as well as on windows....... Black gunge all over the seals of the bath...... Headboard of the bed attached to wall with 2 screws and a bit of mdf....... Tables in the bar of the Spa filthy....... This place truly is the pits of the world. Fawlty Towers is the Ritz compared to this place. And we spent £ 600 in two days........ I wish I had given it to charity...... DO NOT GO THERE !!!

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Only stayed one night so unable to try all the facilities. Pre-booked dinner but chose instead to select from the bar menu. Discovered when settling bill that the cost of dinner was still charged as it was prebooked & can not be cancelled. Thus felt being charged for something we had.not received. Moto - watch the small print and don't per book any of the extras unless you will definitely be using them.

It is a friendly hotel in a lovely location. It is not pretentious but the service and surroundings are first class. We will definitely be coming back. The food is excellent and the dining room staff friendly and efficient. Nothing at all.

We stayed cottage apart from main hotel. The room was big. It was good for staying family. However, unfortunately, the room was not so clean. The coffee cup was not so clean as well.

Pool was excellent and the staff were very helpful. In particular our son left his favourite blanket behind but the staff were excellent in locating it , informing us they had it and posting it onto our home address in Ireland thus minimising the upset for our son. They couldn't have been more helpful. The heating in the room didn't seem to work and so the room felt cold and damp. In general the rooms and the hotel needs decor improvement to bring it up to the excellent look and feel of the swimming pool and health club area which is lovely

Staff couldnt be more helpful. Room very oudated, old decor, cobwebs on wall so dont think used that often. Split in front door and poor security on front door and inner door, tv didnt work, radiator on all the time. We had been asked to pay £235 for 3 of us! Not value for money. When we booked on the website thought we were staying in luxury.....the spa was lovely but still mirror broken behind jaccuzzi, didnt seem loved.

The swimming pool was open at a reasonable time which was great to be able to have a long swim before breakfast and still have plenty of time to shower and dress before check-out. The room was quiet, with high ceiling and a large ensuite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Big open fire in the bar and lounge area which made for a lovely cosy feeling in the evenings (even the resident cat was enjoying a snooze in front of it). Breakfast was ok, although the butter had been put on ice so was impossible to spread on bread or toast. The hotel is not very well sign-posted and we drove straight past it twice. The lane leading down to the hotel was single lane and full of pot holes.
