Service was good. Nice outside area and grounds were nice. Good swimming pool and leisure facilities. Bar prices were way over the top and too expensive. |

It was in a beautiful setting, with fabulous gardens and terraces. The hotel itself was a lovely building and it made a very relaxing stay |

Overall a great stay, location was perfect, scenery was bliss and staff were friendly There was a towel behind the bureau in the room, really don't know how longf it had been there, cleanliness was in question |

i enjoyed the gym and swimming pool, the hotel was very relaxing and comfortable. The wireless broadband did not work and it was one of the reasons i booked the hotel. |

The hotel is very close to Cardiff and Newport but the guest is in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by well-tended and peaceful grounds. |

Enjoyable stay although had to be moved in house as the chalet we were put in had a leak in the roof and was unclean. it did not state on the site that we wouls be in a chalet which I think was misleading Being put in a chalet, I booked a hotel, not a holiday camp |

access to Cardiff. nice grounds for a walk. very friendly staff. Outside needed to be tidied up in places E.g tennis court and steps to hotel as it gave a false impression |

Nothing, this hotel was very, very bad. It's a wedding location, not for staying as guest for a holiday. It has a nice green, with a lot of trees. But further, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The maintenance is very bad specialy the inns. Many things: 1. Our room was not in the main building. 2. It was dirty. 3. There was a dirty smell in the room. 4. There wasn't enough toilet paper and soap. 5. The room's (the Inns, outside the mainbuilding) were very dark and windows were very small. 6. There are often weddings in the hotel, that makes the entrance very crowdy. 7.The restaurant was a room with 4 tables with bad service. |

Great location, good price, friendly staff, great leisure facilities, lovely modern room with some character. Didn't eat here so cannot comment about food but menu and bar looked good. Being by the door to the stairs! |

When I went to use the gym the staff very helpfully pointed me in the right direction, gave me a towel, opened the key coded door to let me in to the changing rooms, only when I was half changed did I realise that I needed a pound coin for the locker. It would have been useful to have been told this before I started to get changed! |
