would like to have stayed longer!
It's what a well run hotel looks like.
What's not to like.
Good firm bed, friendly welcome, interesting location.
The rooms were very comfortable, extremely clean and tasyefully firnished. The facilities for i pads , computers etc were well designed and functional. The building as a former school retains a charming characture and does not have that sterile atmosphere of many modern hotels. The full english breakfast was hot and delicious and the service friendly and efficient.
The bar could have been made a bit more appealing, cosy or interesting and given an identity.
Fantastic stay with fantastic staff. In particular Joaquin Pinto looked after us so well in the bar and restaurant. He kept us topped up, brought us nibbles, and advised on meals all with a great bit of banter. After check in the reception staff called us after half hour in the room to check everything was okay. Food very good.
Bath robes would be nice but no big issue.
interior design was great
Now and then there was a slight whiff of drains from the bathroom. I could have called reception if it was a massive issue and they would have dealt with it but it wasnt bad enough to worry me!
Location. Quality suite.
Room service very limited after 10.00pm.
Excellent staff, particularly at reception. Very good breakfast.
My room was on the ground floor near the hallway and staircase, not the best location. Limited parking space, expensive and requiring advanced reservation.
We booked the hotel for convenience and value for a necessary night away but were surprised to find it to be lovely in every way. 10/10 for cleanliness, lovely room and friendly service.
A perfectly run hotel. Discrete and classy without being showy. A rare find in London these days.
Noisy air con from the bathroom no way of turning it off
Cleanliness, friendly sincere staff, warmth & atmosphere of building, professional attention.
A splendid building, old English style, near a very nice small park. Very well placed for downtown reach. Bus stops (bus 9 & 10 running to many important attractions) just in front of the hotel. Metro station Hammersmith on Piccadilly Line at about 10 min walk. Personnel exceptionally nice. Very safe neighborhood, with food stores in close distance.
SPENT 2 NIGHTS BEFORE XMAS AND CAN RECOMEND THIS EXCELLANT HOTEL GOOD BREAKFAST AND ATTENTION
Lovely building, well appointed hotel, friendly staff, tasty breakfast and walking distance to Hammersmith Apollo.
The pleasant caring staff, the cleanliness in every room and the breakfast were all excellent.
There was nothing we didn't like. The bedroom was a little small but, for the amount of time we spent in there, it wasn't a problem. We will definitely go there again as it was in an ideal location and we enjoyed our stay.
The fact I had to persuade receptionist to forget my him and tonic to compensate for no hot water
Loved this place. Needed to grab a room after arriving in late on a flight from Heathrow. This hotel is 5 mins from Hammersmith tide so easy connection. They also upgraded us!
Lovely place, great architecture, good value for money
Small selection of drinks at bar / room service. wine was house white only and was terrible!
I booked this hotel so that we didn't have to travel home after Olympia had finished, and location wise it was brilliant. Only a short walk of about 5 mins. Room was lovely with a very comfy bed! You couldn't ask for more! Breakfast had a wide variety which was very nice.
Unfortunately, in the morning there was a fault with the hot water boiler, so we weren't able to make use of the lovely looking shower. We got an apology but unfortunately that was it. We were probably just unlucky that it happened at the time we stayed there.
Great location for Olympia. Much prefer a hotel with character than a soulless chain hotel. Beautiful building with real historic interest. Well appointed rooms & one of the best bathrooms I have seen in a hotel for that money.
Location - very near Olympia
The bed was tiny, at 5'2" my feet still hung over the side. My husband and I slept very badly as there was no room. The pillows were awful. The staff were not friendly and when we complained about the size of the bed they just argued with us.
