Pershore is a lovely market town in the Vale of Evesham.
Pershore is a lovely market town in the Vale of Evesham. The River Avon runs along the edge of the town and some lovely walks can be had to villages around. The Abbey is beautiful within its grounds. Enough shops and cafes for a day out or a weekend stay.

We enjoyed walking around Pershore it has some lovely shops and an Abbey worth visiting.
It also is right on the river so had we had time and better weather we would have had a walk along the tow path.

Pershore is an absolute joy.
Pershore is an absolute joy.
We were fortunate enough to finally meet up with friends of my wife, Trudy, Andy and Pickles & Teddy the dogs, who were the very bests of hosts you could ever wish for - They showed us the real treasures of the area especially the glorious abbey in Pershore itself.
There is so much to see and do in a fabulous part of the country and if you are looking for somewhere special to eat or drink then The star Inn offers the very best of quality from Bruce the owner.
A real treasure in a busy world.

I didn’t have much time to see Pershore itself, but there was a written walk of places of interest in my accommodation, with photos, which I read, and I was only sorry that I didn’t have more time in Pershore itself.

Very friendly shop owners due to the busy high street with good individual shops, plenty of coffee shops and good pub called The angel .
This pub offers events which I attended and good food.
This high street is busy on a Saturday and closed on Sundays like times gone by.
Check-in was friendly and efficient. Our dinner was excellent, as was breakfast. The room we were allocated was very comfortable and bigger than expected. We loved the way the rooms all had their own names! The Nespresso coffee machine was greatly appreciated. The beautiful bath was especially luxurious! (though very slow to fill, which didn't really matter). We would definitely recommend this hotel to others. It is housed in a quirky old building with real character and has been beautifully renovated.
The price was very good for the location which was on the very edge of the main area of Pershaw town. The breakfast offered was a full English (well cooked) with tea or coffee and cereal and fruit juice before if wanted. The room was adequate but good for the price. The shower was powerful and the water very hot. The room was not noisy which we were pleased to find out. We ate in the restaurant and we though it very good; my husband thought his meal excellent.
Star inn is a great pub, very friendly staff and locals, good ales and although we didn’t try the lunch / evening menus it looked good. our breakfast the following day was excellent. pubs location is good. room was ok, we were in room 3, had a bath with over head shower, plenty of hot water. if I was staying in Pershore again I would stay here. since it’s very good value for money
We were very impressed with Sam who welcomed us and showed us to our room. He was very thorough and polite. The room was better than we expected and was clean and well appointed. The pub itself was warm and the locals gave it a homely buzz that you do not get in a chain hotel. The food was excellent in the evening and the breakfast was outstanding.
Mark and Julie are amazing! They were super friendly and welcomed us for our stay, and remembered our names the next day! Breakfast was great, and the room nice and clean with comfortable furnishings. Great shower! I regret we were only there for one night, and wish we had more time. Will absolutely come back if we're in the area again
Beautiful. Best place we stayed during our month long trip. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and well decorated. The common areas were also great. Wonderful view in the dining room. Truly picturesque. The owner was great. Let us use her kitchen, very helpful regarding places to eat, cooked a great breakfast, etc.
This is a really lovely place to stay. Location is perfect for walking into Pershore and to the river. A great location too for exploring the surrounding area. The house is wonderfully appointed, decorated, comfy and super clean. One of the nicest places we've stayed in a while. Very responsive host.
The hotel was very nice, the staff were exceptional. The breakfast was very good and well worth the money. The food overall is very good. The rooms we had were very good with plenty of space the bed was comfortable.this hotel is not to be missed it is a little gem.
Excellent full English breakfast!
The hotel is an oasis of calm hospitality tucked away at the end of the village, beautifully decorated rooms in the annex we stayed, and so many touches of elegant decor and architecture throughout.
All the food was exceptional. Very tasty breakfast which was cooked to individual requirements. The room was spacious and included a seating and kitchen area. The en-suite was very large. The staff were very helpful and friendly
We couldn’t get into our usual hotel-We were pleasantly surprised and will stay again. It’s a beautiful location warm friendly welcome nothing. Good breakfast plenty of choice. Very near to Pershore.
The hotel was full of character and our room was large with a wet room bathroom The food was amazing as well! Plenty of shops on the doorstep if you need anything
Excellent location, very quiet, room with a view of the Malvern hills, couldn't fault the accommodation or the facilities, as good as a five-star hotel.
