The person who appeared to be the manager was good and was available. Receptionist / bar lady was welcoming but had little knowledge of how the bar worked. Hotel was very dated. Furniture and fittings had seen better days. The whole hotel was very dusty and surfaces were not cleaned on a daily basis. A lot of money for what was expected of the standard of the hotel.

Its the best English seaside hotel I have ever stopped in . All staff were first class and if we were to visit the area again we will be stopping at this hotel . Car parking could have been better .

Stade Court location. Your bw brochure claims "free high-speed Internet in all our hotels". I booked bw to have this facility which was not available in the room given. I asked specific advice at reception twice and hotel manager on how to connect at the Stade Court. They said use the hotel bar which I tried and another location, none of these worked. I was wasting my time. The bw claim above is false and your staff is indifferent to its customers.

The staff and management made every effort to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable and hassle free. They were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were impressed with the location and the price of the room with eat as much as you like continental and full English breakfast. The room had additional features such as staircase to the bathroom and a little indoor balcony area looking out to sea which we found very quaint! We ate in the Indian restaurant and were treated to little treats from the Chef and the Manager sent over a complimentary bottle which was a really kind gesture so all in all a very enjoyable visit and we would definitely return!

All staff very helpful and sorted out the heating in our room that was not working very quickly. Fairly long wait for breakfast as rather busy but everything hot and very tastey when it arrived. There was 14 in our party and we would all be happy to stay there again.

Great location, friendly staff and a reasonable price. The hotel was obviously operating on a skeleton staff. Returning from a night out at midnight we had to key a code into a very battered entry phone to summon someone to let us in. The connections were slightly loose and we had to try several l times before it dialed through successfully. This seemed a little

Friendly helpful staff , very willing to help in any way they could. Good location with lovely sea views(from our room). Reasonably priced. Very clean room. The overall decor and ambiance is a little tired, the The building shows its age and would benefit from some modernisation. There was quite a pungent smell , perhaps from the restaurant below, radiating through the place, to be fair it didn't really bother me, but one of our party who is pregnant at present found it sickening.

This hotel was very disappointing. It looks very dated and tired with worn carpets and a pervading smell of curry throughout. The room was clean but very small and the radiator did not work. We were given a convector heater. The tv signal was weak with some free view channels not available. Wifi was advertised as available throughout the hotel, it did not work in room 104, dial up would have been faster. The smell in the corridor reminded one of the disinfected smell in an old people's home! Single glazed metal framed windows meant heavy condensation on the windows in the morning. Other than being located a few metres from the beach this hotel has little to offer. Not recommended.

Very cold weather especially being on sea front. We found the hotel rather cold, therefore, did not feel comfortable on arrival. The hotel would have felt more welcoming if the first impression was warmth instead of chilly.

The location was excellent for us. The hotel needs a major overhaul--lift not working, stairs and corridors creaked, elderly person had to scale 6 flights of stairs for room on 3rd floor, reception ?????, front door opened and closed with a clatter, Shower in one of the rooms did not work at all, breakfast was fair, but milk was sour. Chaotic!

Close to family and very clean and comfortable Only the act that the radiators had not been switched on and the room was so cold they had to put an electric heater in for us.
