Good comfotable Hotel- pleasant staff.Rooms first class . Much improved since my last visit two years ago. Would prefer the old style restaurant rather that Indian in place at present. Smell was ever present in the room occupied by me. |

What lovely friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfast, with a toaster that produced perfect toast, a miracle! For dinner if you wanted something different there was a lovely Indian Restaurant. Our only quibble, was that the temparature at the hotel was too hot. However you were able to adjust the temparature in your room. |

Location was graet and we gota room with a sea view, staff were very helpful lift only accessed one side of the hotel - our room was on the other side which necessitated climbing two flights of stairs (my wife has mobility issues) or going through a conference room (awkward if occupied) |

Nothing! The room allocated was disappointing as it was not a sea view. The 2nd room offered had wet paint INSIDE the wardrobe and was obviously unusable. The 3rd option offered was a flat which was very basic and sparsely furnished See previous comments. Also the smell of curry which permeated the entire building. The food in the dining room was poor and had to be returned to the kitchen. |

Relaxed and comfortable, efficient house keeping and friendly, helpful staff. Good sized rooms. Bedrooms ought to have two chairs for double occupancy - Hand rails would improve safety on external steps, especially for those who are not too steady on their feet. ( please note we live in Newbury - not Newburt as recorded) |

The seaside location, and proximity to the Chunnel. The Indian restaurant was very nice, and the reception staff very helpful. It was great that we could stay there with our cat. Tharking was very cramped. The rooms are hard to navigate to, and the bathroom was very small. |

The room was excellent, had obviously been refurbished. We had wonderful sea views from two windows. The staff were attentive and friendly and customer care could not be faulted. The smell from the Indian Restaurant on the First Floor was everywhere. While I love Indian Food this smell was unpleasant especially in the morning. |

Breakfast was good on both mornings. Service at the front desk was good. It is very close to the beach. The bedroom was quite adequate and the beds the most comfortable we've ever experienced in a hotel. The walls and floors seemed paper thin which meant you heard every passing step and word, the layout old, and the lift tiny (but just about adequate) |

Dining room welcoming and breakfast very tasty and hot. Bedroom bright and airy. The snacks from the bar were good but took 45 mins for a sandwich to materialise. Didn't like not having any tbags on tray in room. |

The staff were very friendly and efficient We had to climb to the third floor and then go all the way down again to get to our room on the first floor. This is because of the Indian restaurant on the first floor. Could there be a small corridor made for those few guests who need to get to those rooms beyond the restaurant? |

Seabrook House is a lovely Victorian property with many of its original features preserved and set in pretty gardens. |
Recently refurbished to an excellent standard, the Red Lion in Hythe is now under new ownership and offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, a cosy traditional bar and comfortable en suite rooms. |
