rural setting. helpful staff.
LOCATION CLEANLINESS AND FACILITIES. MODERN BATHROOM WITH good towels Pleasant welcome
TOO EARLY BEAKFAST TIME ON SUNDAY MORNING. CURTAINS TOO FLIMSIES AND LET TOO MUCH LIGHT IN TO THE ROOM. BATHROOM MIRROR NEEDS LIGHT OVER IT.
Pleasant change from normal chain hotels. Very clean and quiet with nice staff
Friendly staff, comfy rooms without going over the top, lovely cooked breakfasts. Tawny owls to send me to sleep and jackdaws to wake me up.
Very friendly service. Comfortable room with plenty of space. Great breakfast
Track to the hotel very rutted and bumpy. They need to put a sign on the A515
Very Peaceful. Welcoming staff and feel at home. Plenty of parking space.
Comfortable room. Quiet location. Excellent breakfast and good service. I left my wallet in the room and it was posted back to me.
The only thing was the compact ensuite. I think a tall person would have difficulty as the basin shelf are very low
Everything was very good excellent breakfast and didn't have to wait long to be served room clean and plenty of storage draws Great for exploring the Peak District
Only a small thing but we already knew this the road is a little bumpy and access is through industrial estate
The family room was excellent. A lot of thought had gone into the children's bedroom with lovely decoration and a range of toys. The adult room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The breakfasts were great.
We stayed in a little one bed apartment it was comfortable and clean. We had a small patio and access to the garden area which was nice to sit out in an evening whilst our son was playing on the grass area. There was a nice open effect electric fire you could use with or without heat which was very cosy on a night time
The apartment was right next to a silo building and the smell outside was pretty strong, we are used to it as we live in a rural area ourselves but if you are not it was pretty strong on a summers day! The apartment was £108 as advertised on the site but we had to pay an extra £10 if we wanted a ready bed, I thought that was unnecessary.
Got the one bedroom flat. Fair amount of space. Good kitchen facilities. Good and clean bathroom.
No breakfast included even at 120 GBP per night. 10 GBP extra for an extra small cushion for child to sleep. This is a one bedroom flat for a family. How did you expect on double bed to be enough? Access to the room is through a door that gets locked in the evening. No internet in the room. Had to drive on a very narrow, steep and scary road in the middle of the forest to get there. Location is workable only if you are driving.
A quiet, clean, comfortable and modern establishment in an old setting, easy to find and with lots of parking space. A country setting but close and convenient to Buxton and other Peak District attractions. Friendly and helpful hosts.
very helpful staff, breakfast
slow wifi, distance from town centre
The bathroom and the room in general
The friendly but businesslike approach. The cosy room with excellent views. The very tasty breakfast.
The location was marvellous. Very tasty substantial breakfast.
Lovey surroundings, nicely decorated rooms, very pleasant and friendly staff.
FAMILY ROOM WITH GARDEN ANS BBQ
LOTS OF FLIES IN ACCOMMODATION TO SWAT
Clean tidy rooms, lovely people, quiet environment, lovely breakfast. I would recommend you try it for b&B or camping
The host and staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort ...recommended local pubs, asked about our visit, good info on local sites. Breakfast was plentiful and very timely. Tidy housekeeping a plus along with in-room amenities. The family room set up was perfect for us and was our sons' favorite stay in our 3 wk all-UK holiday.
Entrance road very rutted. Good signage and easy to find.
We loved the friendliness of the staff, the breakfast was beautiful and the room was spacious, bathroom was a little tight and cramped but not a room I used often so didn't bother me.
Could hear people walking or running around in the room above but no fault of Staden Grange really, just heavy footed people!
Very helpful staff Good parking Good breakfast Attractive grounds, used as campsite.
Rather depressing decor More of a motel than a farmhouse Have to go through industrial estate to reach it Only just walkable to Buxton - few buses
cool room - the weather was very hot when we were staying; owners were friendly and helpful, location was much better than we feared. Approach from the industrial estate doesn't look promising but location is actually good. Breakfast was good. Room was quiet.
Walking to Buxton is not really practical so you need to drive in or get a bus or taxi.
Ease of getting in to Buxton
Poor television reception
Location was excellent once we had driven past the Ind Est. Room was clean and fresh and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was spot on and the owners were very helpful and pleasant :0)
