Overlooking Liberation Square and the yacht marina, the 4-star Pomme d'Or is in the heart of Jersey. Guests can enjoy elegant rooms and free access to the nearby Aquadome Leisure Centre.
Score from 198 reviews Excellent
This Victorian town house is a one minute walk from Havre des Pas Beach and outdoor pool. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk from St. Helier town center.
Score from 190 reviews Very good
the location close to every think staff was friendly the food was excellant
the rooms where very clean but my top sheet was ripped the beds where sagging
Friendly Staff, especially the two girls on reception, great location, good breakfast.Overall good value for money.
Poor TV reception, creaky floorboards everywhere.Clean hotel but a little tatty in places.
staff very friendly, close to town.
Could have done with a fan or air conditioning in bedroom, probably if I asked the would have me given something.
Easy walking distance to town. Staff were lovely.
Pillows were rubbish. Rooms to hot.
The price + breakfast
Really friendly staff and very helpful
The hotel only had one high hair so my one year old had to sit in her buggy to eat breakfast
Location, very attentive and helpful staff.
Ambiance was poor, decor was appalling, bed uncomfortable and bathroom very tired indeed.
Courteous & helpful staff
Tired room furnishings
Staff were extremely helpful with directions, service, lending an umbrella. Location was perfect, literally 2 minutes from the beach, 5 from the marina. Clean hotel. Vintage style definitely made the historic visits feel more real, loved the style of the hotel!
The television could be more up to date, slightly bigger to match the room sizes, and maybe get freeview. The pillows were good but could use one softer one on top as had a sore ear in the morning. View wasnt great as was just a roof and fire exit steps but the room was cosy. Also bathroom, kettle and hairdryer could be updated but I did love the feel of it all
The whole of the stay was very good the staff would do anything to help all very friendly
Creeking floorboards quality of sleep very poor
Food good. Staff excellent.
Could hear noise from room next door and floor boards very squeeky so lots of noise from room above
Staff are amasing especially receptionist Sam and Catalin who make the hotel stay
room was very old, shower did not work properly. Very run down overall but made up for with staff and cleanliness
Staff were excellent. Friendly, chatty and helpful. Breakfast buffet was amazing and represented excellent value for money. Excellent location situated close to town centre, local buses, restaurants, beaches and other facilities and places of interest. We would return here, and indeed recommend it to others as a budget hotel in a good location, albeit we would request a family room or a twin room as opposed to a double room which proved to be less than adequate.
Although the room was clean, the furnishings and décor were very dated and tired looking and the rooms could do with a major refurb. The TV was a large bulky model similar to one we threw out 10 years ago and it only received 4 channels. The least one would expect these days is a basic Freeview set up. The wifi in the room was very slow and sometimes non existent. Our bedroom overlooked the loading bay and quite often we would be disturbed by noise quite early in the mornings. Most importantly, the bed was quite uncomfortable and small (for a double bed) which meant that we did not experience one night (out of seven) where we could say we had a good sleep.
staff friendly and attentive , hotel clean food very good.near beach and not that far from town and good restaurants near by .
Noise from bingo announcer. Even tho we were on 3rd floor boomed in until 2230! As we arrived in jersey at 0830 and walked all day not good.
Although it's only 2 star rating hotel you get 4 star service the staff are warm friendly and the breakfast and entertainment on certain nights is great we really enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again.
The rooms are a bit dated but clean and do the job
Live music in the bar very relaxing sitting back on the leather settees sipping a beer .
Everything was ok for the star rating .
Very friendly staff and manager. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Enjoyed using the pool in the next door hotel. Great location
Bed was uncomfortable. Shower gave an inconsistent water temperature. Bathroom very dated. Whole place needs updating Seagulls!!!!!
Lovely lounge and bar area. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Staff were polite and very helpful, especially reception staff who always greeted us with a smile. Good location for bus station, shops and restaurants.
Rooms need a good clean and a coat of paint. Most of the towels were grey instead of white, but the reasonable priced accommodation compensated for this.
Receptionist was helpful rooms were rather hot but we were provided with a fan.
The fact that they tried to charge me more for the room when I clearly booked 3 rooms fir a set fee. Not sure why I will be keeping my eye on my bank statement in case they charge more
great hotel, good location, genuinely friendly staff, nothing too much trouble especially the three girls on reception, also good breakfast with good selection.
Buffet breakfast was nice
Decor and room was dated and definitely did not like the sink in the bedroom
friendly staff good breakfast.
room very hot despite windows open could get no ventilation inside stifling, needs refurbishing old fashioned décor.
Friendly staff and guests lovely breakfast very good position near to sea front and town and public transport!Very Clean too!
Room very noisy staff chattering loud in a morning as room was near staff rooms, we had ants in the room and it was hot and dated!
