Warm, friendly, welcoming hosts, beautiful house, lovely comfortable room and bathroom, all spotlessly clean, excellent breakfasts. Nice walks on land surrounding the house.
Our bedroom and ensuite bathroom were beautiful, clean and very spacious. Claire and Ray were both helpful to suggest and book our dinners nearby. They were really fabulous hosts. Lots of places to visit. Excellant breakfast choice. We would definitely stay again.
leaving! We really love it!
If you are going to run a B&B,visit Ray and Chris to see how it should be done.We wish them every success possible, and will re-visit when in the area..
Charming old house beautifully renovated to provide very comfortable and spacious rooms with all mod cons. Lovely hosts made us very welcome and were very helpful. Good bed - proper King size (a rarity in England). Lovely modern bathroom. We liked being out in the country - there were still plenty of options nearby for dining out in the evening. Good location for Exmoor and the coast. Great breakfast. Couldn't have asked for more - we were very happy and most definitely would recommend. Thank you!
Homely atmosphere in a wonderful setting. Warm and friendly.
Nothing to report.
excellent hosts nothing too much trouble warm friendly welcome lovely room
A very warm welcome from Claire and Ray, a cup of tea and cake on arrival. They were both Helpful with places for you to visit, and eat. Home made biscuits in room every morning. A very clean and well presented room. 7 acres of land to enjoy. Plenty of walks in the aera. Lots of places to visit. Excellant breakfast choice. FAB couple, would definitely stay again.
Friendly, very helpful, good facilities, beautiful outlook.
Everything - our hosts, the welcome, the food, the facilities. Couldn't fault anything - assume it was only a one night stop-over for us. We'll be back!
Nothing - faultless!
Welcome, cleanliness, spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, close to Dulverton and its amenities.
claire and ray the ground the room the breakfast the open minded hosts
there wasn't anything
This is without doubt the best out of so many B and Bs we have stayed in over many years. The proprietors were exceptionally accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The house is beautiful and very well presented. Our room was perfect with an enormous bathroom! The breakfast comprised the highest quality ingredients and everything was cooked to order. I very highly recommend Stags Head Farm.
Nothing at all.
A top B n B run by very friendly hospitable hosts, lovely clean well presented rooms, with a beautiful breakfast.
Warm efficient hosts who have attended to detail with flair and style.
Fantastic farmhouse, excellent hosts and yummy breakfast.
A very classy and friendly B&B. We were welcomed with a cuppa and home cooking and it just got better and better, spacious room, friendly hosts, cleanliness with attention to detail and breakfasts to die for. Handy location on the main road but in the countryside so very peaceful. A great place with everything going for it, highly recommended, one of the best B&Bs we stayed at.
My wife and I stayed two nights and I must say it lived up to all expectations in every respect. Exmoor has so much to explore and this was the perfect location for us, quiet, very friendly and top class. Thoroughly recommended.
Hosts are The Best we have come across. tea and hole made scrum my cake on arrival etc. There are so many little additional touches that they don't have to make but choose to do so that makes the stay here superb. Room spacious and modern in an olde world setting. Nothing to fault and everything to praise.
Nothing it was all superb
Great breakfast, delightful rooms, pretty garden, nice people with excellent recommendations for where to eat and where to go. Take Ray's advice on what roads to use over Exmoor for the best views!
Stag's head Farm is in a stunning location and there is an equally stunning welcome from the owners who looked after us very well throughout the weekend. A relaxing place for a stay however long or short.Excellent!
Just amazing. The wonderful and spacious room, the owners Ray and Claire, the breakfast. The location was on the road to Dunster so not too hard to locate. We will come again!
I loved every second spent in this B&B. The house is located in the middle of the forest, so it´s a small quiet paradise. Be prepared that you won´t get any mobile signal there - perfect for a vacation :-) For those who need to connect with a world - wifi is available and it´s working pretty well. The room was just simply beautiful, with a nice cozy bed, newly renovated bathroom and coffee/tea facilities - including the home made cookies (what a great personal touch). The cooked breakfast was very good. If you come here without any plans - don´t worry. There is plenty of hiking/trip materials in your room as well as in the breakfast room to read. This B&B is run by a really lovely couple - you´ll feel here very welcome. I would for sure stay here again.
Everything was just great - lovely people, great location, fab breakfast, warm and friendly welcome spacious and clean room - nothing to complain about at all.
There nothing to say here - excellent stay - they even organised good weather!
Lovely welcoming hosts - they went out of their way to be helpfully. The B and B was presented very well and is in a great location. Very strongly recommended.
The proprietors were really welcoming and thoughtful.
