In the heart of Liverpool, Hatters hostel offers private rooms and shared dormitories with a bar, communal games room, and a kitchen. Liverpool Lime Street Rail Station is a 5-minute walk away.

With free Wi-Fi and a lively bar, Lord Nelson is just a 5-minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station. The Victorian hotel is just a few metres from the O2 Academy Liverpool.

May's House is less than 1 mile from central Liverpool's major attractions, including the Albert Dock and Liverpool One Shopping Centre. It is within a 15-minute walk of The Beatles Story and museums....

Very helpful management Clean, comfy cosy rooms
As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner/manager absolutely lovely man gave us advice on where we should go and things happening in Liverpool. Rooms were great for what we paid could not believe how nice they were for the cost of our stay.
Do not book a taxi with village taxis they're the most horrific taxi company we have ever had the misfortune to deal with. One thing you do not expected is to be sworn at and spoken to in an aggressive and intimidating manner when booking a taxi. The hideous service village taxis provide has no reflection on the Stalbridge hotel though. Would definitely stay here again 100%
Helpful manager, happy to provide information, chat. Good service
Nothing, perhaps would be good to include bus number that you can get direct to the hotel
Great value for the money, supermarket and bus stop are very close
a bit noisy when window is open - right at the crossroad; quite far from city centre - cca 6 km = 30 mins by bus
One toilet only working. Which had to be shared by two floors of guests. Dirty sheets etc.
Meeting the receptionist / manager was very helpful and promoted Liverpool with things happening in the city . He made sure I was comfortable.
The super comfy beds, The helpful lady on reception, Right opposite Asda,
The lack of plug sockets. No proper smoking area - felt abit uneasy in my going out clothes standing right outside on a main road at 11pm on the night. Taxis not arriving - not the hotels fault but just a heads up if you go on the weekend order the taxi at least half an hour before you want to go out. we waited over an hour.
price, very friendly owner helpful with information about connection to the centre, where are the attracions. location to the airport
it´s noisy, but for short stay ok
We travelled as a group of 9 party goers and couldn't fault it! Chris (owner) was so helpful and accommodating, the rooms were spacious and comfortable and it was only £12 in a taxi to city centre! Ideal for what we needed :)
Due to it's location it's vital you pre-book a taxi back from town otherwise you'll be seriously struggling any time after 2am - this is obviously no fault of the hotel though, just some advice!
Nothing way to exspensive for such a run Down place
Everything would never recommend it to my worst enemy
- very helpful owner. she was so nice and polite to us! she also gave us a lot of tips, for example cheap taxi number. - very nice looking room and elegant bathroom - comfortable beds - tv - room was cleaned daily and coffee and tea were also supplied - extremely fast wifi - location: close to the airport (about 8 minutes ride) - very tasty pizza take-out place just a few steps down the road (Village Pizza)
- it's quite far from the city centre, but it's not a problem to take a bus as the bus stop is very close and buses run every few minutes.
The rooms was clean an beds was a good size it is only good if your a hen or stag party so somewhere to sleep and make sure u check if u can us the kitchen before you go as we had to ask for a key.
Cheap, and location is handy for Liverpool South Parkway.
Well, you get what you pay for basically..
I really liked the manager's welcome. Our room was upgraded to ensuite with no extra charge, which was a lovely surprise. He told us how to get into town easily. The location of the guest house is also good: 1mn away from a small Asda and 2mn away from decent take-aways. Very good for a one-night stopover.
The mattress was a bit springy... but all in all, nothing to complain about.
good access to public transport, take away outlets and shops
Parking on the street
I was very disappointed with the level of service that we received from Stalbridge Guest House. In particular, the member of staff that we were greeted by was extremely rude, unprofessional and very unwelcoming. Overall, our experience with this hotel would be one that we would not wish upon anyone! I would go as strongly to say that I would actively recommend anyone NOT to waste their money on this hotel. We were looking forward to our stay here and our experience very much ruined our weekend.
Location .. Wifi .. Friendly host
Really friendly helpful staff, great family room with wi-fi.
Quite a long way from the city and although travel was easy (taxis and regular busses available) it worked out quite expensive for four of us over our three day trip.
Super fast wi-fi, friendly owner, comfy bed, affordable
It was so hot in the room even with the fan on and windows open
Having fridge and freezer that you could keep your food in.
I fully understand why they closed the room with the plates, kettle etc on Friday night and Saturday night but why did it need to be shut right through the day on Saturday? I had to leave unused food when I left on Sunday morning as room was still closed. Also the guy was never around much and never told you how you could get in touch.
Rough looking area but for the money its ideal. Just glad no hen or stags that night
freindly manager / rooms lept nice and tidy
I booked a single room and got a big one suitable for 3 persons. The receptionist / owner was very helpful.
The door to my room could open and close with only loud noise, hopefully my neighbours didn't hate me much during my 4 day stay.
This place was clean and the staff were friendly; the room though a bit small was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The shower was perfect. Although it is in a fairly 'gritty' area, I went out about 9 to get some food and felt perfectly safe. Nearby Asda and cooking facilities help to keep costs down. I'd be happy to stay again, they seem nice enough people, but I do suggest a bit more flexibility about check in. 20.00 is hardly the middle of the night!
The hot tap in the sink only gave lukewarm water. I would criticise the 20.00 deadline for check in. Our boat was meant to arrive in Liverpool at 17.45 but because of mechanical problems got in at 19.00, meaning an expensive (£12.40 from Princes dock) taxi instead of the bus, in order to make the deadline. It didn't bother me personally, but as there is no lift, try for a lower floor room if your mobility isn't too good.
Great value for money very clean and lovely friendly staff. Thankyou
There was no one on reception when we left, also being out of the room for 11 wasn't a good idea being so hungover!
