Love the location where access to tubes/buses is so convenient!
The Lift was under maintenance service :(
Good bed, duvet, clean sheets Ensuite bathroom is always nice Great location in Southbank, few minutes walk to the river Cheap for London Nice pub around corner Close to The Old Vic Theatre
Street noise - remember earplugs! Fine shower in the evening but the water was cold in the morning Would have preferred a cleaner bathroom
Location very central. Good breakfast. Clean very basic student room. Desk and fridge.
Noisy road at night. Too much traffic to sleep with window open.
the price and location
no serious criticism but stairs to room where hard work for someone near 70 years and signage to rooms very poor
Very poor noise isolation Elevator not working Indifferent attitude of staff
Location great, 5 mins from tube/rail links. Good price for ensuite room. Good security.
Lift not working, trudging up to 3rd floor with bags a pain. Funny odour in room on arrival, possibly been used by smoker? Shower tray grotty. Cooked breakfast cold even though I had it as they were just opening up.
Great location near Waterloo station; can't fault the price; Wifi good and fast; towels included; fridge in room a good bonus. Bed comfy enough. A good, cheap option in London if you won't be spending much time in the room.
Bathroom was a little grungy-looking--I didn't shower because I felt like I probably would've wanted shower shoes. Lots of noise on the street outside, even though I was 4 floors up.
The location, and at least the Wi-Fi worked.
A tiny room, a "unitized" bathroom with a rusty metal floor and no shower curtain, so that the whole tiny space gets wet. And the bed was small and poor.
Location was great and the breakfast was fresh and hot. Easy check in and check out. Provided with plenty of towels.
The Kitchen area was filthy and never cleaned over the whole of my stay - dirty sides, unwashed pots, grease and grime over the appliances etc. My room was not freshened at all during my stay either, even though this was guaranteed in the room conditions. Couldn't use the communal kettle as the sockets in the room were not working. I reported this on the first day of my stay and nothing was done.
The location, the simplicity, breakfast was included
Probably wouldn't have liked the size of the room for a longer stay
Perfectly placed for underground and theatre I was attending. Room very small but warm and had wifi access.
Could hear person in the next room playing computer games into the small hours. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Very cramped bathroom facilities, but functional. Only two hangers in the wardrobe. Good job I was only staying overnight.
Excellent location when I needed to be close to Waterloo Station late at night and early the next morning. I knew the room was a student room with basic facilities and these were as I expected - simple but clean with a comfortable bed and adequate duvet. The breakfast was excellent with lovely fresh croissants.
The noise - the room was stuffy but when the window was opened the traffic noise from the road was dreadful - revving motor cycles and racing cars all night. In addition there was a fire alarm in the afternoon which wasted an hour while the fire brigade tried to identify the source.
There was a small refrigerator in the room. There was a kitchen near by with oven, stove and a small tv. The location was great,.
everything else... room not clean. there was no cleaing the whole week, no new towels. The carpet looked like a disaster. There was no airco or vent in the room and it was so hot. The shower was not clean. The room nneds a redecoration urgently.
friendly staff and really good value for the accommodation
bathroom a bit tired & a few noisy students about. Sleep not disturbed.
Very close to Waterloo station. Amazing shower, very hot and great water pressure. Despite negative aspects was good value for money for one night stay. Area felt safe returning late at night as a single female traveller.
Had to sleep with window shut due to noise from trains, apartment was very warm. Fridge was very noisy during the night. Lots of noise in hallway outside room at 4am from other residents. Towel supplied with room was pretty small and manky looking.
It was clean and value for money and the location was convenient for theatres south of the river. The location also seemed pleasant and safe. Toiletries were an unexpected extra.
Breakfast seemed a bit chaotic but it was very good.
The good location and overall okay accomodations, the price which, for London, is very intersting, the bed which was surprinsingly comfortable, and the breakfast.
The very basic accomodations, the bad state of the shower (rust on the floor), the noise from the street (and the fridge), and the window that does not fully open.
everything needed was available in the room
The location is within walking distance to the London Eye, Palace of Parliament, Waterloo Station, Tate Modern Museum, and many more sites. Security and staff are excellent. Cannot beat the price at this time of year.
Virtually impossible to locate the entrance from the street. Rooms are very small, but have the essentials
Grim student bedsit. Too hot, stuffy and noisy.
Location, location, location.
Tiny dorm room. Very cramped. Very noisy. EXTREMELY HOT room with no air circulation. Window would only open about an inch. Just very hot.
The bathroom floor was raw concrete. Walls to neighbour room thin as paper. It should not be recommend to adult, but only young students.
Decent room Good sized desk to work on Fast Wi-Fi
Workers drilling outside window 2 nights running! Poor sound insulation on Windows from traffic.
location cleaning service was very polite room was quiet fridge
both chairs in the room were dirty and old
Great location and very cheap for London, good size rooms.
Very noisy from hallway and the road.
