The hotel is set in a country house which is very beautiful however it is not suitable for business travellers. The restaurant closes at 9.30 and there is no room service available. Despite there being customers in the bar - the bar was closed at 10.30pm. This is a country house which no doubt is very beautiful for weddings but it does not offer the services you would expect from a normal hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful - beautiful setting very close to gatwick A little old fashioned and some of the garden furniture was in need of repair or replacement. We booked a superior room but felt it was not superior or we were perhaps put in the wrong room

Nice quiet location near to Gatwick without being under the flightpath. Lovely grounds around the house to explore. Did not take breakfast at the hotel; when I came down there were uncleared tables and no-where free to sit. Waited 5 minutes but no one cleared the tables, so I checked out and got breakfast elsewhere.A Bit of a shame considering the overall quality of the place.

The location was perfect. Very close to airport. The hotel was beautiful like something out of fairy tale. Very English There are no lifts. Our room was on the top floor. If you are handicapped forget coming. Also the selection of food for dinner was not enough especially if you are American

We used the hotel as a place to stay as we had an early morning flight to catch. The hotel was in a fantastic location close enough to the airport that the taxi was only a few pounds but still no noise from planes overhead. We were able to leave our car there as part of a package. The hotel was lovely it's in a fantastic location and the staff very helpful, friendly and polite.

De fantastische uitstraling van het hotel. De kamers zijn heel mooi en het geheel ziet er schitterend uit in de oud Engelse stijl.
