The house was attractive. Room spacious. Quiet location. Ideal base for visiting. Coffee/tea facilities in room. Staff friendly and helpful. No one at hotel when arrived had to phone and wait. Would of been better if we could of arranged an eta. Bed had a sagging mattress, quilt covers rather uncomfortable and scratchy. Bathroom unclean, crude build up in floor corners. Taps and shower head unclean. Worst was toilet bowl remains of faece's stuck to the bowl and hairs in the bath. Disappointing.

Everything. I love the location, the staff (Sheila and Marion are great ladies and very friendly). Our room (3) was lovely, also warm and comfortable, and overlooked the garden and Stanley Park with the city in the background. We were treated to a free beer by Patrick (Manager) on arrival. Leaving to come home

Staff were good, nothing was too much trouble for them. Although out of the city centre, it only cost £4 between 3 of us in a taxi. Room wasn't very clean. Previous occupiers socks and gloves under the bed. Handle came off inside of toilet door. we reported it but it didn't get repaired. Had to have cold showers. We had to ask for our teabags etc to be replenished, as the cleaner had not come into our room.

Located near to football grounds. Car park. Warm and quite comfortable. Friendly staff. Good value breakfast when available. Some good Beatles memorabilia. A bit disorganised and not especially clean.

- easy access bij public transport - easy going staff - shower was hot and plenty - watercooker with tea & coffee - breakfast fine & enough although we didn't order full english breakfast - the bunkbedspiral was noicy - in 1 of the rooms we only had a window in the ceiling - the neighborhood is in renovation, this means that many houses are closed and not many people still live there. Nevertheless we felt save.

Great value for the price we paid, a little out of the city but is only a 6 pound taxi ride into the center of Liverpool. Bed was comfortable, showers a bit awkward. Staff very helpful. All in all a good stay! Just the shower being a bit crappy.

The young lady who was manager while we were there was welcoming, very friendly and made our short stay really special. For the price we paid Epstein house was very very good value for money, and as Beatles fans, the decor was very special. would recommend to all our friends back in Aus.

I was really surprised when we arrived at Epstein House, It was just a large house turned into a B&B, B&B to me means bed and breakfast, but if you wanted breakfast you had to pay extra for it £4.50 for cereal and toast or £7.50 for a hot breakfast. Check in wasn't until 2pm, our flight was at 7am so we had a lot of hanging about to do with a small child in tow. When we eventually got checked in the rooms where not very clean. The dirt was sitting thick under the bed and all round the skirting boards, the sink in the really small toilet room was filthy around the taps. Our shower was in the smallest shower room I have ever seen in my life, it was like a shower in a cupboard. And to top the lot the price for 1 night was ridiculous £109 for a triple room .I would certainly not book into there again. We walked down the street towards the main road and all the houses in the streets adjoining the road where derelict and boarded up it was a terrible looking place. The owner had his dog in the building and it had went to the toilet on the floor and he walked in it.

Proximity to the football stadium Anfield was excellent. The owners of the property were on holiday themselves, so it was left to someone else to look after guests of which it appeared she could not cope @ breakfast time but full marks for trying as I had to help her with serving tea and juice.

Confort and location. The receptionist girl was barely seen. I had to pay upfront without seeing the room. Didn't informed me of the time that served breakfast. I arrived at 9am to have breakfast, she saw me, did not talk to me, did not served me breakfast and packed all the cereals and milk. To that, I call it a lack of education and lack of good of will.
