The location of the hotel was fantastic! Everything nearby and easy to get to!
The pillows were dreadful! Nothing to them, just flat!
Staff cooperative and smiley. Location/value for money excellent.
All a bit over prepared at breakfast. Coffee not good. Decor cringing.but value for money Ok.
There wasn't any WiFi we found clumps of hair and toe nails on the carpet bathroom was dirty breakfast ass horrible and the knives looked like they have never been washed.
the bed was very comfortable, the staff where pleasant, the location was perfect.
the rat traps behind the bed, no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room, the window did not lock and let cold air in, the heater did not work. The smell was a drain smell.
Breakfast was simple but tasty Price was good Location very convenient We had a little balcony I would go again.
tiny bathroom flashing Christmas decorations disturbed our sleep, but when we complained they were turned off.
Poor shower, hot water not stable; big noise from shower upstairs; no shower gel, check out 10am too early; some staff not friendly only push you to pay.....
Sound Proofing can be improved
Perfect location, good price for the value you are getting. The building is old, would need refurbishing, but it is clean and the staff really goes the extra mile. Breakfast was nice. Not a 5-star hotel, but they don't advertise themselves as a posh place! You get what you booked.
Able to get a room large enough for 3 adults and 1 child Good breakfast Free vending machine for hot drinks
Had to queue for breakfast despite coming down 1/2 hour before it ended. Needed longer breakfast period when busy.
great location ,value for money, this was my 4th stay at this hotel
Excellent location and clean hotel. Staff very friendly and attentive.
The bed was uncomfortable and a very small double.
The breakfast was disgusting cups were filthy. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Did not have a shower all weekend as it was cleaner not to shower than to risk showering in this hotel. The bedding was grey and threadbare and the room and hallways were dirty and smelly. Complete rip off.
It was quiet. Very small room
Did not have maid service one night.
Close to victoria bus station. Helpful staff.
Price you had to pay to travel to west end. Staff going beyond the duties of what's expected. Having to pay for water. Then not being allowed to eat or drink in room. Not good if you take medication, room quite big , but only one chair.
Good location room clean
no tea or coffee making facilitys
centrally located breakfast included affordable for central london
double room was very small bathroom was miniscule staff could do better
The place was quiet clean and the room big enough being a standard double room.
Poor wifi connection, breakfast
Staff disorganised at breakfast we had to keep asking
Not much, breakfast was ok...at least the toast was delivered hot with the English breakfast.
The pillows provided were poor, one even didn't have a cover. The room was basically clean, but showing signs of age. The cleaners need to pay more attention to detail as a used disposable razor was left in the bathroom. The hotel does not provide tea/coffee making facilities & even specifies that drink & food is not to be consumed in the room.
I needed a hotel near Victoria Station and the hotel was very conveniently located.
My and my friend were staying there for five nights and we both agreed that the location of the hotel was great and the staff was very nice. They were very helpful and wanted that we have the best possible stay in London. Also, we enjoyed our breakfast a lot. We would definitely recomend the Stanley House hotel because of the location and the breakfast.
The problem was our room, the floor was covered with carpet and on it you could see short blond hair that none of us have. That was a bit disgusting. Also, we had a really tiny sink in our bathroom situated just beneath the cupboard so it was really hard to brush our teeth and wash our face. And there were spots of mold in the shower as well. I also think that for the price we payed the hotel could be much better.
Great location (5 min walk from Victoria Station) and staff! Very nice rooms - comfortable and clean! Higlhy recommended place for staying in London. Good price!
