This b&b vas very comfortable and close to local amenities. The owner was very welcoming and the breakfast very nice and filling. If I am in the area again I would definetely consider staying again

Just a ten minute walk from Wakefield Sports Club, the venue for Wakefield Jazz. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel / BnB sadly didn't live up to it's review score so didn't like anything.

The hotel is in need of a refresh, the whole place is very old and gives off a dirty impression. - I ordered a double room, but used the single bed in the room the whole stay as the double bed was so old that the springs were coming through. The beds also have fabric headboards which you know the only way to clean them is using professional cleaning machines so it was just not pleasant. - I only ate breakfast there once, although a big full english, it was 50% out the microwave. (I could hear it pinging next to me) - The bar was overpriced for wine that was being poured out of a box in front of me (I don't mind the box but pour out of sight or charge accordingly) - Internet, this was big problem, the hotel advertises that you have wifi available, This is only BT Openzone which does a full credit check when you want to buy an hour of interent, BTOpenzone is also very expensive. At a BnB, which this is, I have become very used to Internet being available. - The bathroom only had a press down hand wash, no bar of soap, no shower gel, Tiny towel and a very weak shower. Sadly I won't recommend this hotel. If the price was cheaper and the review score previously was lower I might not have had such a bad experience. There are a lot of hotels around this price range that are a LOT better.
