The hotel is beautifully situated in a quiet area despite nearby traffic and within 5 minutes from Manchester airport and Alderley Edge centre.

The staff were courteous and helpful. The dining room was impressive and the full English breakfast was individually prepared and was delicious. By all accounts dinner is also very good although I didn't eat there myself. My room was in need of re-decoration. The wallpaper was badly stained and the carpets were old and tired.

Location near to family in Manchester. The room was very, very hot. Receptionist said temperature was controlled centrally and could not be adjusted???? Room noisy due to wedding function music until 01.00. Also, due to room being so hot, window was open, and noisy wedding party departing disturbed me. We have stayed here before without any problems. Probably not again.

The room wasn't noise proof as mentioned, could still here planes starting from the near airport. The TV didn't work properly. There was no WIFI in the rooms available. No fire on in the bar area. The menu was written in sophisticated descriptions, leading to missunderstanding in what has been ordered and what has been served.

Convenient business hotel. Comfortable, clean, mostly well maintained. Pleasant staff, plenty of parking. Convienent for the airport. Breakfast was fine. Room was good but electric trouser press and iron were missing, possibly removed because of dodgy power point. Didn't press the point. Boiler failed overnight so no hot water on first morning but restored by afternoon. Did not eat dinner in the restaurant where menu was corporate and uninspiring.

1. Shower head flew off and hit me in the face 2. Restaurant staff dumped a bowl of soup I hadn't ordered before me and 3. Restaurant waiter invaded my private space and was invasive thus didn't enjoy the food.

The location being 10 mins from the Airport and 20 mins from Manchester City centre is excellent I found tat my room which was situated in the newer block was very noisy. The wall insulation was so poor that hearing people urinating in the toilet next door was a definite minus for an Hotel that charges almost £100 per night. In adition the TV was constantly malfunctioning, this was also experienced by other guests as I overheard their complaints at reception The Restaurant was very tidy but tefood prices were astronomical. Breakfast was not included in the room rate and to pay over £10 per person for a help yourself Continental breakfast of cereal and croisants with juices was quite outrageous!

The hotel was clean and looked like it had been recently refurbished. The room we stayed in was finished in a contemporary style with a good view out across the adjacent garden/woodland. The restaurant was well laid out and was quite characterful with wood panelling - which I assume was part of the original building and looked quite 1920's/30'S. Breakfast was good - can't comment on the evening meal as we didn't have dinner in the hotel. Staff were pleasant and did their best to make sure the stay was enjoyable. The tv in the room wouldn't switch on properly - on speaking to reception it seems that this is a problem with all the sets in the hotel (Philips). We had to get someone to come up and perform a mystical sequence of button presses on the remote to get it working. If you go at a weekend, be aware that the hotel will be in full-on wedding mode. We looked on it as part of the entertainment - orange tans a-plenty! The waiter in the 'cocktail bar' had to be told how to make a Martini.

The hotel has impeccable standards of cleanliness, and the food was excellent. All the staff we spoke to during our staff were very professional. The rooms were large and very comfortable, only one slight drawback - there wasn't any air conditioning.

The staff. all very helpful and friendly. we did have a big issue with our bed the first night - it was ready to be replaced and very uncomfortable. However Eamonn the manager very quickly changed our rooms with the minimum of fuss. we had a really delightful stay with excellent staff. we ended up staying 3 nights

It is how all Hotels should be. Not too big, comfortable and clean with very helpful in a great setting. The toilet paper it was far too thin and the large bed we had was great except that the bedding didn't completely cover both sides of the bed.
