Friendly and efficient staff. Good food at the function. Breakfast horrendously over-priced. A number of fittings in the bedroom did not work. |

Friendliness of staff on arrival and cleanliness and standard of decor throughout. The hotel had a cosy feel to it. The television was not correctly programmed for digital tv and this was very irritating. |

Evening staff in the bar/restaurant were very helpful. The breakfast experience was disappointing. To be fair, the girl that was working appeared to be all alone and stressed out. I wasn't shown to a table; I ended up seating myself only to find the table had already been used and not made up properly; I never received my coffee and toast until after I had finished my buffet breakfast! More breakfast staff required!! |

We were guests at a wedding held at the hotel, so had little choice as to where to stay. The cleanliness of the bathroom was a particular issue - the bin in the bathroom had not been emptied prior to our arrival and contained the previous occupants' rubbish - including tissues, cotton buds, plasters and other personal items. There was also shaving foam smeared on the bathroom wall and the towels were stained. We advised the hotel staff of these issues and were advised that someone from housekeeping would come to resolve them. However, nothing was done throughout our stay; the bin remained unemptied, the towels remained stained and the wall remained smeared with shaving foam. A number of other guests staying at the hotel at the same time also had issues with their room and other facilities/services provided by the hotel. |

Poor standard of accomodation for a 4 star.Hot water pressure was poor, the shower was slow and inadequate. The heating wasn't easy to control. Bar service was too slow in the conservatory. No fried eggs at breakfast. We feel it was below the standard of other 4 star hotels we have used. |

The Executive double room is very good value for money, comfortable and clean and nicely done up in a modern style. Nice seating area too. Would like a mini-bar in the room but otherwise nothing. |

Convenient location The hot water ran very slowly in my room, the shower had ineffective pressure. My room was right next to air conditioners that ran all night. A wireless net work was advertised in reception and elsewhere, but did not work/was turned-off. There was no business centre (a room with PC and printer would be sufficient). The place had the air of somewhere that had been good but was now rather run down. |

Relaxed atmosphere in a country setting but close to the town. High quality service and amenities. Bar decor could be improved , not in keeping with the style of the hotel. |

Food very good if a bit pricy. Location good for Manchester by train (from Winslow) station is a 15 min walk away. Quiet location. Room decor update needed. No space to unpack clothes (2 small desk drawers only). No casual seating (1 desk chair for a double room?). All quite disappointing considering billed as a 4star hotel. |

Clean and comfortable, well-sized room, easy to find, large car-park, quietly situateted but in easy reach of airport and major roads. Room doors are prone to load slamming which is very disturbing. |

We attended a wedding reception at the hotel. The food was excellent and the staff performed well There was a fire alarm at about 8.15am . Happily no fire. The staff said it happens without knowing what caused it. |

Very accessible and in a quite pleasant area. Friendly staff. lovely views. spacious carpark The only thing that put us off staying again, is that the showers were very very primitive and practically non-existent. The water trickled out and made showering virtually impossible. A more forceful shower is an absolute necessity. |
