The price was fair and the location was close to Stansted Airport and train station.

The water from the shower seemed to be just above a trickle. I made the reservation with one credit card, but when I arrived I had to pay separately. Yet, both charges are still on my card. Don't enjoy coming home and having to sort through all that, but alas, I must.

The owner gave us a very friendly, jolly welcome and clear guidelines as to depositing the key etc the following morning (as leaving for a very early flight). Enabled us to start our holiday without stress and close to the airport for ease. I would use this Guest House every time I need to catch an early flight from now on without hesitation.

A little difficult to find, although on a main road it was between 2 post codes, however, I feel if we had difficulty we could of phoned. No issues with Stansted Guest House itself at all but no eating places near (worth knowing if travelling to it to access the airport).

Everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The owners did all they possibly could to help us. They were smiling and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble and they relaxed their rules of access because of our extreme flight times (very early morning and late at night) They booked a taxi for us; recommended the best local pub for an evening meal and searched the Internet and printed out 2 route guides to help us touring on our way home from Stansted. The rooms were very comfortable, warm and beautifully clean - the ensuite bathroom facilities were well-appointed very clean and a pleasure to use. The grounds and surroundings were very much a large country garden which it was a pleasure both to look at and to stroll through. It was quiet and peaceful with triple glazing; such that you wouldn't know there was an airport nearby and they advised us perfectly on how to access the airport on foot for a pre-flight reconnoitre. Superb!! If you want to take a short city beak to the continent from Stansted Airport; flying first thing in the morning and coming back last thing at night to maximise your time in your chosen city; then this is where you stay in transit.

Close to Stansted airport, convenient to stay overnight between flights.

Only a brief stay before catching early flight from stansted - was met by a friendly guy who showed me where my room was. Room was nice, warm, clean with tea coffee etc and tv,big bathroom. Transfer to airport at 6am was on time, just for me, and free.

Only downside was it costing £8 to get the taxi (less than 5 mins) here from the airport in the first place.

It's perfect place to stay over night between the flights. Only 15 minutes on foot from the airport.

Hotel room was good,but I fell down a step that wasn't indicated and hurt my mouth very badly on the laminated floor, I do feel that a warning sign should have been displayed. Also the web page says free overnight parking,but when you read the small print it's actually £5 per night, I could have got a better deal at another hotel, I.E. collection from airport. I won't be using Stanstead Guesthouse again.
