The country setting. The restaurant staff. The dinner.

Lack of comfortable public rooms; the bar in the sun lounge was closed by nine pm and was quite cold to sit in. The rather stark décor. The very restricted window lights in room 310 and the old fashioned furnishings. Breakfast left us rather underwhelmed as well.

Quiet, attractive venue and environment, friendly and efficient staff, comfortable rooms, excellent value for money.

Rather limited restaurant menu for non-Japanese guests, although the quality of our meal was excellent.

The hotel was in a beautiful situation and was full of character. The rooms were of an excellent size and décor. As we were attending a funeral at the nearby crematorium it was ideally situated for our purpose

The hotel is owned by Honda and it seems only to cater for Japanese. I feel it would be used more by the general public if there was a proper alternative English or International menu. To limit your self to one nationality is self defeating

The Country side, setting and location are beautiful.

With all the weddings going on I felt as if we were a bit in the way, just waiting to move us on, so they could get on with the day preparations.

The room was outstanding and the food in the Japanese restaurant was amazing.

Restaurants no atmosphere ,barely manned could not be described as a country house hotel.

The big sunny room with a four poster bed and big windows on two sides overlooking the park and lake and our own terrace. The service was very good. It was great value for money.

Food was very nice. Set in nice countryside for the peace & quiet.

Very clean. Lovely large bathroom. Very comfortable

The customer service level needs to be improved greatly as the staff weren't helpful.

Staffing, cleanliness, restaurant and value for money

Nice Sized room, I beleive I had a suite.

The restaurant was bad, for dinner and breakfast. Restaurant staff was also almost rude. Certainly indifferent.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean.

Lovely location in the countryside but just a short distance to Swindon and the m4. Pleasant rooms have a fridge as well as tea/coffee making facilities. Nice big single bed - very comfortable.

Mobile phone signal was non-existent and, for some reason, neither the phone in the bedroom nor the pay phone at reception were working. Frustrating!

Food was good in japanese resturant.

Rooms are very dated and looked like they needed a good clean, smoke alarm was thick with cob webs / dust, so if that is dirty what else is!! So the cleaning of the rooms needs to be improved.

The town of Swindon! So run down and neglected!
