Comfort, cleanliness, building character, setting. Breakfast ingredients surprisingly poor, e.g. sliced bread used for toast, flavourless bacon, coffee quality.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Service during wedding reception and evening was very good. Lovely quiet room. Lovely breakfast and lovely food during the wedding that we were attending. We thought the room was expensive for what it was.and dark. We were situated above or near a loud fan, which was annoying during the night.

“We stay at this Hotel to and from our many visits to our family in North Devon. The situation as a 'half-way house' is most convenient. Always find the staff and accomodation first class, nothing too much trouble, always providied with room on the floor and in the area requested. Parking facilities excellent - and a very good breakfast available. We would recoomend the Hotel and its posiiton.” Douglas, Cambridge |
