Star Hotel - B&B

The owners were very friendly and the bed was comfortable.

Very noisy being on the main road. It was really very hot the night i stayed so didn't get much sleep at all. The doors rattle every time another guest leaves their room which sounded like someone was trying to get in the place.

Booked as close to Lyric Theatre. Free upgrade to double room which was at back of hotel and quiet. Comfortable bed - and I have back problems so this is rare - spacious en suite.

Breakfast room was rather cramped and there was no cooked breakfast option.

I found the room to be a little grubby, with the chair having numerous stains and a suspicious brown mark beneath the radiator.

The staff were very welcoming and the room and ensuite facility were nice, clean and tidy. My e-booking was confirmed as a 'double room for single occupancy' but the room provided was actually a single; however, it was still a reasonable size room and the rate was reduced without even asking.

Excellent place if you are looking for "value for money" and you are not very picky! For London, the prices are cheap and it's great for a "lay over" night or two.

lack of telephones in the rooms

Good hotel for the price, but despite double-glazing, my room picked up lots of noise from the busy road outside.

Friendly and helpful staff

The room was really clean. The staff were really helpful and gave a great breakfast service with a lot to choose from. It was also in walking distance from the Hammersmith Apollo which was a bonus.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer und Bad war zwar klein, aber sauber, jeden Tag gab es frische Handtücher. Für diesen Preis kann man nicht mehr verlangen. Gute Verkehrsanbindung zum Zentrum, das Westfield Shopping Center liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Im Schrank des Zimmers fehlten Regalböden zum Ablegen von Kleidungsstücken. Da der Schrank groß genug war, wäre dies leicht zu bewerkstelligen.

3 copines parties visiter Londres, nous avons été très bien accueillies au Star Hotel par le personnel très gentil et soucieux de la réussite de nos visites. La salle de bain était agréable et propre, le petit-déjeuner plutôt bon. Nous retournerons dans cet hôtel.

La chambre donnant sur la rue, nous entendions les bruits de la circulation (caserne de pompier à 2 min) mais pour une nuit ça ne nous a pas gênées et nous avons quand même bien dormi.
