Extremely nice and kind personell. Clean og pleasent. Good value for the price. Rather quiet area, although a bit buisy road to one side. Nice and rather assorted breakfast (to be in England...).

Hotel staff was excellent. Needed to call a day trip agency I booked and the receptionist let me use her cell phone since it was free for her anyways. Breakfast was good for continental. Beds and pillows were awesome. We got a smaller room since it was two double beds, but was good enough for me and my husband. Bathroom was up to date. Right down the way from Hammersmith Tube Station. Great rate for proximity to central London. Water pressure was not that good in the hotel shower, so it was hard to watch my hair every morning.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, clean room, WiFi There was actually not a lot to complain about... perhaps just the absence of an elevator which can be a pain if your room is on the 3rd floor and you have heavy lugagge.

Friendly and cozy hotel in easy to reach location just 5 mins walk from Hammersmith tube. Very clean. Nothing really. It was a little dated in the decor but the price was excellent and compensated for that.

Very friendly staff and an efficient and reliable service, especially by the owner Luigi. It's a wise choice to take a room near the back of the house which is away from the main street as I did. The whole hotel is being refurbished room by room and is mostly complete so it would be a nice time to go. It's 5-10 mins walk from the underground and surrounded by amenities and some nice pubs. A few teething problems with the free Wifi service but I eventually got it working ok.

The two members of staff I dealt with during my 2 night stay were welcoming and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. My only (mild) criticism is that the pillows were rather thin and so not as comfortable as they could have been

The staff were just amazing. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left. They were, welcoming and friendly and they anticipated what I needed. They really care about you as a guest which was so different to the other place I had stayed in. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was great very close to everything. I would and have recommended the Star Hotel B&B to everyone i've met since I arrived here.

The staff were helpful, the room was very clean and the breakfast was ok. Overall I had a pleasant stay and would defiantly consider booking there again, the hotel is perfect for a weekend stay if you're on a budget. It is also about 5 minutes walk away from the tube station and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area

Very close to the Shepherds Bush Empire , we had gone to see a band but when we arrived the gig had been cancelled. We didn't have a clue what to do instead so had a word with the owner , he was was very helpful and told us what was available, where we could go etc. To get to this Hotel it is easier to use the Hammersmith tube rather than the Shepherds Bush one. The TV in the room was a bonus, breakfast simple but good choice and very filling. Beds fairly comfortable and rooms very clean... would we stay again.. yes.

Staff is exceptional, room was very clean and very spacious for London. Good location, close to the tube, buses, White City shopping centre. If you get a room facing the street it can be a bit noisy - but it's London.

There are lots of small hotels and B and Bs around this area but what makes this one stand out is the quality of the hospitality - everybody is made to feel genuinely welcome, as a person and not just as a punter. Rooms are simple and slightly old fashioned, but immaculately prepared and exceptionally clean; breakfast is copious and of decent quality. A real find.

Nice hotel, clean rooms but quite basic My room, facing the street, was not really insulated against street noises. Shepard's Bush rd is even at night time a very busy road with a lot of ambulances and fire brigades coming along.

get off the tube from the airport and walk 5 minutes and you're there, close to 3 other tube stations. run by a husband and wife team, along with their friendly and accomodating staff, offer clean rooms, tv, internet, and continental breakfast. newly renovated bathroom was very modern and nice. narrow stairs might be a hassle for large baggage but i had a small suitcase. small bathroom needs getting used to as i bumped my elbows a couple times the first day.
