I liked the size of the room and the bathroom.

The bed was a bit hard and when i had a shower i slipped in the bath twice but fortunately i didn't fall

Liked the size of room ie could sleep 5 and the other 2 ideal for our party.

Good value for the price paid. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and undergoing refurbishment in places. It has lots of Victorian character and is centrally located next to the railway station. The breakfasts were very good.

The bedroom, described as a double, was rather small for two people, as was the bathroom which only contained a rather cramped shower stall, toilet and small sink unit. There were no rails or a rack on which to dry towels and the hangers in the wardrobe were in short supply.

Certainly not as described as a boutique hotel. It needs a refit and update. My room was basic with cheap mfi furniture. No info folder in room

Good location, friendly staff, room clean & spacious. Also liked the bathroom products, tea coffee, biscuits & water provided. The chocolate on the pillow was a nice touch.

Couldn't complain about anything given the price we paid, but the hotel would benefit with being refurbished.

Large and seemingly empty corridors. We ate in the restaurent and we were the only 2 couples - the food was average.

In need of some updating and a lick of paint Prices in bar were ridiculous

The staff from the reception, and bar, handled everything in a very professional and pleasant manner making our stay an enjoyable one, also the rooms were off an excellent standard and very comfortable and clean, the staff should be proud off their efforts in maintaining a high standard through out the hotel. Big thankyou to all.
