Location Price Good parking Staff friendly
I liked the location, the restaurant served beautiful food and the staff were nice. The receptionist was very kind and honoured our breakfast charge. I hadn't noticed that breakfast wasn't included in the hotel rate.
The hotel didn't have enough staff. One person was on reception, who wasn't there as she was tending to other things. There was one waitress covering the restaurant and bar at the same time. Having such a bare amount of staff isn't good for customer service although the staff were very good.
Only booked one night.
Room was freezing. Condensation running down windows. Bathroom ceiling black with dampness. Bathroom stinking of damp.
Terrible bed. I'll fitting sheet didn't fit mattress. Threadbare sheets. No bathroom light. This room should not be let out until they invest in a new bed
Hotel was clean and staff helpful.
Was not aware that rooms didn't have phones prior to arrival, would like to have known.
BEDS AND PILLOWS VERY POOR IN THE ROOM WHICH WAS GIVEN TO ME.
Good location for public transport facilites second to none great staff perth its self is a good place to your trip to the highlands
The room was spacious and the beds comfortable.
WiFi did not work for us.
Hotel was lovely the bed was comfort and the breakfast was good excellent location for shopping
Really good on reception
The internet in the room at times was frustratingly bad.
Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Location excellent for walking into the city, and for travelling routes in and out of the city. Nice big rooms and lovely interior to arrive to, and exterior to look at.
Noise from the front, evening and early morning. Not very clean behind the bed. Pillows pretty uncomfortable.
Music being played too loud till 10/30.
The hotel was in a good location with private parking. A little tired but clean and the facilities were very good. Bedroom very comfortable and bathroom well equipped. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of buffet foods and a cooked breakfast to follow. Will definately keep this hotel for my business trips in the area.
The evening meal was very overpriced and not good. Definately not value for money. Would find alternative venue for evening meal next time I visit.
Being served coffee at breakfast as opposed to serving myself from cachets.
Waiting nearly 15 mins at the reception desk to book in as the only member of staff was serving drinks in the bar, and more guests kept arriving at the bar for drinks..
The hotel was shabby and run down.
Located directly out of the train station, this once grand hotel produced thoughts of past opulence. We needed a hotel for a quick overnight stay while we traveled south to London. It was majorly convienent.
The room was cold in the early Autumn because the heat was kaput. No phones in rooms, so he'd to travel through the very long corridors and downstairs to alert the front desk. There was ONE spare space heater that they had to give us, thankfully. Too cold to shower, so upon request, they provided a complimentary breakfast that was very good. The hotel is crying, begging to be restored!
A Spotless room with biscuits and water bottles provided. Good email offer for dinner. Great plants growing in the Dining room.
Long waits for some one to come to the front desk, but fine when they came.
Food was very good and hotel comfortable.
On our first morning there was only 1 girl to manage the restaurant, taking orders, clearing, setting tables & getting drinks. Poor girl did her best but should have had help. There was no manager on duty to be contacted.
Breakfast. Staff friendly.
Room badly in need of refurbishment and decoration. Sink was a cloakroom sink and it was not possible to wash one's face, clean one's teeth without hitting your head on the wall. Room very small, hanging space very limited. Room was cold with no heating. Hotel in general needs a massive refurbishment programme. The cost of my room went up to over £1100 for 5 nights because of the Ryder Cup. I would have been horrified to have to pay that for the room I was given. Would not stay there again.
Booked the station hotel on our way to Scotland got an excellent value deal . We were travelling with a six month old but it was no issues at all room was clean and perfect and travel cot was up and ready for our arrival . Would stay again perfect location and staff lovely x
Location. Staff. Comfort. Availability - had to find alternative accommodation urgently when let down half way through Ryder Cup. A bit pricey but cheaper than most.
Hmmm! Need to think about that.
Windows rattled all night providing no chance of sleep. Bathrrom, whilst cleanish was actually filthy. Water damaged ceiling and a cracked bath. Worst of all a plug hole full of other peoples hairs etc. Disgusting. No concessions for breakfast start time even though it was clear people need to leave early for Ryder Cup which didn't stop them jacking the room price up.
The wonderfull lady behind reception x
Location Size of room
Bed-too short & it was made up of two single mattresses.
