Everything! super friendly staff, good food, very comfortable bed, very clean facilities.
the feel of the place, the decor, the staff
Parking a bit cramped
Rooms Breakfast Friendly staff Value for money
Parking - if you have an SUV or large car you'll struggle. But you could park around the corner on the sea front
Staff great ,breakfast superb, bed was the best I have ever slept in apart from my own . decor was lovely, room was very warm and spacious.the area around the hotel was quite quiet and close to the seafront .
Ensuite was cramped for a room at that tariff. My room, 9, was opposite reception and the main door and also on the route from the kitchen to the dining area. At times it was very noisy and I could hear every word spoken outside my room. If I had wanted a romantic night with my partner it would have been very inhibiting.
Very nice and friendly hotel. Staff were lovely. Only comment would be the beer run out when we arrived and there was no more so we had to go into town rather than stay in hotel for the evening.
Very helpful staff, good value, close drive to Portsmouth Docks. Nice breakfast menu
Very soft bed
the hotel was in a good position and very friendly clean and a short walk (5 mins) from the sea. breakfast included a lot of choice and it was an enjoyable visit and would go back again.
the only thing about the property was that it was very windy the night I was there and the window was so draughty that the blind moved quite a bit (new windows needed?)
The bedroom was large, comfortable and warm with a good quality, piping hot shower. Breakfast was very good and the lady on the reception desk was very helpful and pleasant. The shopping area where a lot of restuarants and pubs are was only a short walk away. Would look to stay again if in the area.
Not much. There is a carpark but it wasn't very well advertised; the street parking is awful and roads narrow so it was welcomed in the end. Breakfast service could have been a little quicker with one girl covering reception and breakfast.
Bed was comfy food was nice, staff very helpful.
Room was tiny and meant to be an executive room.you could hear people in the bar above walking around due to squeaky floorboards.
Very comfortable. Nicely furnished room. Lovely breakfast.
Loud beeping when we came back to room late which could have disturbed others - not really a big problem. Waitress at breakfast a bit grumpy.
The hotel was is a good location with off street parking, which was definitely required. The staff were polite and helpful from the start. The room was of a good size and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very nice.
Bath in bedroom whilst remainder of bathroom facilities in en suite. There was a shower head but no where to hold this, neither was there a shower curtain; both of these issues made it easier to have a bath than shower. Unfortunately the water was lukewarm and the bath tap had poor flow. In addition, the tap fittings on the sink were loose. We were awoken at about 0700hrs when the heating came on due to noisy pipes which was an intermittent issue throughout the morning, preventing a lie in.
Room was clean, a good size and decor was spot on.
At night time I was locked out as the hotel fob pad was not working. I was ringing on the door bell and knocking on the door for approximately 20mins and got no answer. Therefore, I thought I would try and see if anyone could hear me through the letterbox. Half an hour later someone eventually answered the door and started shouting at me for shouting through the letterbox. Having paid £169 for the room I would not expect this, especially when I had told her I had been locked out for half an hour, she said "I know". So why not answer before???
All round quality hotel. Special mention for the excellent meal at The Kitchen. Will return.
Car parking a nightmare due to inconsiderate street parking which posed severe problem to get out of a very tight car park if you have a large vehicle
cleanliness comfort staff
Me & my partner booked this spare of the moment and we had a memorable stay and would defiantly go back and would without a doubt recommend this hotel to friends and family. When we arrived we got a free complimatery upgrade, the room was lovely and clean and the decor was pretty. Breakfast was delicious they used good quality ingredients and the staff were very attentive. The only thing I could fault was the bed being a little creaky ;)
Nice hotel. Friendly polite staff. Warm cosy on a cold wet winters night. Clean room.
A tad overpriced.
Rom Washington grenat and foot excellent
Although off Street parking difficulté to get in and out because of traffic parked on road
Bed was super comfortable. Room and bathroom were spotless. Warm and cosy room.
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, very good breakfast choices. Would highly recommend
Great food..comfortable bed...
Staff looked miserable...I arrived early and had to walk Around until 3 pm check in....no alternative was offered...
Good staff, good location, good value for money, first class breakfast. Had a great evening meal in the sister hotel. Nice safe car park.
Window draughty in room 6, car park entrance a bit tight because of car parking in adjacent street, lucky had a small car.
Very helpful staff very clean only a flying visit but would stay here again
Accommodation was clean and we were allowed in earlier than stated as the room was ready. Very peaceful and quiet location
Lovely single room, tastefully decorated and very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Close to the town centre and sea front. Staff were welcoming, polite and helpful. Had a lovely breakfast in the morning.
