There was nothing I didn't like

Try responded to my dietary requests immediately and soya was available from the beginning without reminding often this does not happen in large chains

From the moment we arrived the service and attention to detail was second to none . The Room was beautifully decorated and clean , the food was gorgeous and the extra touches of champagne on ice waiting for us in our Room and the box of chocolates made it extra special . Would most definitely return , fantastic boutique Hotel .

Table in the room a bit too small but otherwise great

Staff was really friendly and very helpful. Lovely room. Very clean, no dust anywhere to be found.

The room was downstairs with the window facing the bin which wasn't very nice.

Helpful friendly staff,also the owner is very helpful and friendly towards the guests,overall a very pleasant stay..

The staff were really friendly. Communication after booking was excellent. Breakfast options were extensive and very well presented. The room was small but beautiful and well equipped. In a great location seconds from the seafront by foot.

We were looking for somewhere for one night arrived late had been given an upgrade as problem with heating or something really nice room clean tidy etc better than your avarage chain hotel everything you could need.

The continental breakfast was nice but the full English needs some work for the £9 charge

I liked the staff, Location, Rooms, Breakfast,

Heating room was cold at night. Tv was not working and when we told the staff they did not know how to deal with it.The price of food and drink was very expensive where is if your prices were better you would fill your restaurant we would have ate in your hotel instead we went round the corner to the Jolly Sailor and ate and drank there.

The attention to detail and staff making you feel that nothing was too much trouble!!

This little hotel is just beautiful, can't believe I've lived in Portsmouth all my life and never even knew it was there ..,,,

A very attractive and tastefully decorated hotel with excellent fixtures and fittings. A cosy bar, great breakfast and incredibly helpful staff.

My room was really small but adequate for short stays and it was smart and comfortable.

The location was good, the staff were very friendly and it was spotlessly clean. Breafast was also good.

The bedroom was quite small as was the car park.

The front entrance stairs could do with a light for coming in at night.

Soft white towels. Fresh fruit salad at breakfast delicious, also croissants. Good decor in dining room, nice and bright.

Bedroom very small, also bathroom (tiny washbasin - water went everywhere) No chairs or table in bedroom. Decor very dull in bedroom. Continental breakfast adequate, but no pastries, although on menu.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Very good bed. Friendly staff with a smile. Good price (if discounted 50%).

Not worth 5 stars. The smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel. Very simple breakfast with horrible coffee. Small parking lot. Location not very convenient, in the middle of a residential street.

Room clean, facilities good

Small attention to detail aspects. Coat hanger on back of door hanging off, taps appeared to on wrong way around in bathroom etc.

After a long day shopping and a heavy Friday night arriving at stattons was sheer heaven. Staff were great and room was amazing. Also, the local restaurant montparnasse was by the best restaurant we've ever been too. Don't be fooled by the simple decor and small area, it's out of this world!
