The location is excellent, walking to most places, without having to use the Tube too much. Perhaps not having a bar to join others in the hotel when returning after an evening at the Theatre.

Location to Covent Garden and theatres. Hotel on a main road, so quite a lot of traffic noise.

This hotel was perfect for our trip to the theatre in London, only 20 mins walk to soho square. Very clean and well equipped room. Staff friendly and polite. A great breakfast also. No lift but a walk up three flights of stairs wasn't a problem for us

good location 1. no lift-small wooden staircase 2. poor breakfast-Buffet with cereals, yogart and fruits only and a choice between Continetal breakfast(only one croissant) or English (eggs/omelete). 3. We stayed for 5 nights and after 2 nights croissants and chocolate were not available. They seem to shop once every week. 4. Very hot room and noisy aircondition.

We loved the location within walking distance of the West End. We liked the room, even though it was in the basement and the en suite was behind a pull back mirror (we had booked late so guess this was the last room). The room was spotless and comfortable, with nice furnishings. However, we were woken in the early hours by a rodent of some sort which had got in between the false ceiling and was scratching around. I stress that we did not see the rodent, and it was not in the room, but could hear it scratching and squeaking. We reported it to the reception the next morning and they said they would look into it. We would stay there again but would specifically ask not to be put into a basement room.

The room was fairly spacious with a nice en-suite. Good value compared to other hotels nearby. Good location for theatres. The room was too hot, although aircon was fitted this was not adequate. An Iron & ironing board was provided but I had to move furniture to plug the iron in & it barely reached the board. The view was spoilt by scaffolding around the outside of the building.

First impressions were worrying - worn carpet, bored receptionist, but this all changed when we got to our rooms (one double, one twin). Both were large, clean and could easily have been in a 4 star hotel. Thin walls, though! Breakfast was simple but with the option of a freshly cooked fry-up with items of your choice it was very good. We had the facility of a locked garage for our car (at £20.00 for 24 hours) which made our bill for one night for two rooms £390.00. Quite expensive for what we got, but am realistic enough to realise it would have been more in a 'hotel' in London. Location was perfectly adequate - walkable to a tube. We found with 4 of us staying it was cheaper to get a taxi to Oxford Street & Covent garden than the tube.

location close to the British Museum and Oxford street the air-conditioning did not work properly and since the window had to be open all the time the traffic was disturbing during the night especially.

the location is only 7 min from a tube station can walk for 15 minutes by foot to the center and the theatres. room was clean and comfortable. the breakfast is good. too expensive. no lift and we had to climb to 2nd floor with suitcase. the room was stuffy and we could not open a window. the AC was inefficient. the location is in a buissness area and quite deserted at night.

Breakfast was more than adequate (we had paid for the full English); certainly there was plenty to eat. Staff was very helpful in ensuring internet worked, and for making local phone calls. There were the two flights of stairs (no lift) to navigate each day. Then breakfast was another flight down. Tube stations are about 4-5 blocks away - this is typical for Bloomsbury.

The staff were very helpful and the room was high ceilinged and spacious, the furnishings were attractive and not garish or plasticky! Above the bathroom cubicle in our room was a large brown dark patch on the ceiling which marred the overall attractiveness of the room. It also seemed strange to have the television on in the breakfast room!

Great bed, waterkooker in room. Nicely decorated. Double windows, no problem with traffic sounds. breakfast very poor. Choise of continental and English is strange and confussing. Difference is croissant (just with jam, no cheese of ham) or eggs (in diferent ways). For 2 nights maybe no problem, but for 6 nights this is quite boring. Not enough space in breakfast room, come on the wrong time and you have to wait. I think price of the room (average 140 pound) is to mutch. Room and bathroom (bad light at mirror) pretty small, no relax chairs on the room, just one "straigh" chair at the desk. Hotel is a former house, lots of noices, stayed on first floor (101) and experienced the walking in the room of our upper neighbours, not pleasant.
