Det finns många berömda och traditionella engelska pubar att välja mellan. Ett besök vid Fitzroy Tavern på gatan Charlotte Street är ett måste, eftersom detta är hjärtat och själen i byn Fitzrovia.
Den berömda London-skolan School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine ligger mittemot hotellet, liksom universiteten University of London, University College (Godless College på gatan Gower Street) och många förträffliga center som är kopplade till medicin, konst, ingenjörskonst, arkitektur och juridik.
Området Soho, teaterdistriktet Theatreland och distriktet Covent Garden ligger bara en promenad från hotellet, liksom de fantastiska museerna och gallerierna i West End.

The position of the hotel was great for the theatre and an overnight stay. Everything was close by we were able to walk to the theatre and the shops. the rooms were very well presented and clean. Would not hesitate to book this hotel again |

Really good location for our needs, Excellent room size and fittings with cleanliness top of list. A top quality breakfast with the best eggs I have tasted in a long time. Also the facility to leave luggage whilst sight seeings for the day. |

Staff were very welcoming and efficient. Room was spacious and comfortable - enormous bed. Very quiet, especially considering location on a busy road. Very handy for theatres etc. Breakfast was good. Price compared to most other London hotels. Would definitely stay there again. Price compared to hotels not in London. |

Nice quiet room on ground floor. Comfortable king sized bed and attractive decor. Room was not ready on arrival. Noisy plumbing! Milk out of date in room hence curdled coffee. Asked for butter at breakfast told there was none left and bacon wasnt very appetizing . This cannot be classed as 4star we would rate it 2/3 star. |

The size of the double room was good especially the extra large double bed. It was very comfortable & warm. Although we had a front basement room the noise of the traffic was bearable. The fact that we had no bath in the en-suite. On confirmation from Booking.com room should have available from 12.00 onwards. We arrived at 13.00 to find room not ready. |

The Staunton is a first class place. We could not have been more pleased. They gave great service and the room was very good. Nice staff and close to everything. The only negative is that they do not have a lift -- not their fault as it is an historic building. |

The location is excellent, 3 minutes walking distance to British Museum, 7 minutes to Covent Garden and so on. Even so it´s a really quiet street in a beautiful Georgian Neighbourhood. It´s a very newly renovated, clean, tidy and charming hotel. There is free Wi-Fi, aircondition and good cable tv. They cook full english breakfast to order. We lived on the top floor and there was no lift. |

Lovely room, plenty of space for unpacking, very comfortable large bed, air con -quiet and effective. Only a short walk to Covent garden, Leicester Square. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice well cooked. |

Good location for sightseeing, free internet connection. The window was difficult to close and open. There is no lift. The safe-deposit box did not work. One morning I could not get hot water and the receptionist did not answer the phone. |

The hotel was very clean and well kept. The bedroom was very very large and had a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was a nice size also. Not too noisy despite being on a main road. Would definitely stay again. |

We stayed in room no 204 and it was much better then i expected. The layout very good as it had a seperate area off the bedroom for the double wardrobe, safe, ironing equipment and unit to store luggage. This area led to the en suite bathoom which was bright, clean and well equipped with toiletries. The only downside was there was no lift as we had two flights of stairs to haul our luggage up; although it did help to work off the lovely breakfast! |

The room was nice and the WiFi connection was good. No elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. Our flight was cancelled and we were delayed 24 at O'Hare airport. I emailed the hotel to say we would be a day late, and they replied by saying we wouldn't be charged for the day. But when we checked out, they ended up charging us for the day we weren't there because we didn't cancel within the stated time. They pretty much said, 'too bad'. |

Nice room and decent sized shower room, very good breakfasts, staff very polite and welcoming, close to tube. Room situated at front of hotel - very noisy on road outside at nightime - lots of sirens, music etc going off. Room was double glazed but still got some noise. Slept well when got off to sleep. |
