Second stay here as we enjoyed or last stay so much. The rooms are superior and a lovely bathroom ensuite. The breakfasts are excellent set in a bright beautiful breakfast room sets you up for the day ahead. Nothing at all.

decor was excellent location quiet and peacfull, relaxing comfy, we were made very welcome, food was cooked to perfection service was great, if we can afford it we would return. the privat bathroom was not located in the room but across the landing it was not a problem for us even with my disability. I did not like the windows in our room not being able to open them

It is a lovely comfortable, spacious, friendly place to stay in Colwyn Bay with character. I had a back room with a nice view of the garden. All the rooms were very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms nicely furnished and decorated. We were a group of friends who had not seen each other for a long time and we were wonderfully looked after. It is in a convenient location for visiting the area. Nothing

My wife and I were travelling back, with friends, from the British open clay shoot at Llandegla in North Wales. I had booked for all 6 peaople simply on the position and direction (on our way home) and was highly delighted with all aspects of the hotel apart from the advertised sea view which required you to stand on the bed on a clear day to see the sea and I would think this and this only aspect should be deleted from the room descriptions. T repeat we enjoyed our, sadly only one day, stop and would certainly stop at this hotel again whenever in the area. As we are a mature couple then the lack of Blackpool type entertainment on the promenade was no problem Did'nt read this box title but note about 'Sea view' in above box.

Warm friendly welcome. Could'nt have done more to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Excellent breakfasts could have as much as you wanted.Spotlessly clean very high standards. Proprieters had a good knowledge of places to visit within the area. Would recommend this B&B to others with the confidence that they would have a satisfactory and enjoyable stay.Well situated for some very nice days out e.g Snowdonia Llandudno etc. Nothing we didn't like

The household is warm and friendly, the rooms spacious and "boutique". The views are very pleasant, and it is very close to the coast (1 minute by car). Steve and Sally are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is gooood. The area is quiet and pleasant. I would definitely stay there again, and probably will quite soon. I couldn't find any fault at all, highly recommended.

The B&B is on a pretty busy road but we had Room Two which was at the back of the house so road noise wasn't a problem. The room was comfortable but the en-suite was tiny. Steve and Sally were very welcoming. The property has a lovely homely feel. Breakfast was super. Plenty of choice if you didn't want a cooked breakfast. Only downside is lack of parking, although this wasn't an issue for us. Lack of Parking and on a busy road.

Staveley House was ideal for both beach and shopping it was in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of shops, pubs and resturants.Just a short drive to LLandudno, Colwyn Bay and Rhyll it is an ideal place to stay and tour the coast. The hostess was friendly and well informed about the area. Breakfast was when you requested it and very well cooked. Our room was large, very clean and overlooked a well maintanied garden. Would stay there again.

Our stay at Staveley House was excellent in every respect. We were given the master bedroom with our own private bathroom across the corridor and it was just luxury. Not only was the room as big as the average hotel suite but the separate bathroom was also pleasantly spacious. After several quite small rooms with tiny bathrooms it was a pleasure indeed. The breakfasts in the bright and airy dining room were also excellent with plenty of options and a civilised time frame. The cooked breakfasts were scrumptious and beautifully prepared. We would happily stay again and would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in that part on North Wales.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and are immaculately clean...so clean in fact that I had a long, relaxing bath after hiking up Mt Snowdon! Comfortable beds too. The breakfasts were super, lovely locally sourced sausages, eggs, tasty thick bacon and all perfectly cooked. We were very well looked after and the owner went to special efforts to provide black pudding with the breakfast (which we mentioned we liked). On the first night we had a glass of wine in the room out of water glasses, the next day we returned to find two wine glasses waiting for us. It's that attention to detail that made our stay so nice. The owner's local knowledge was very useful and the dining out recommendations were spot on. If we ever stay in the area again we would certainly return to Staveley House. The hairdryer was a bit out of date, but I really cannot fault Staveley House on anything else.
