Comfortable Bed and very good breakfast good leisure facilities. On arrival staff miserable and not very welcoming.Do not like the Lounge Bar Decor too dark walls painted very dark Brown and woodwork too dark also pool table in centre of the room not cosy. This hotel really needs a makeover with nice neutral colours it would be far more inviting.Pool table situated in another room.

The reception staff I dealt with was extremely insisant I hadnt paid the hotel bill prior to the booking irrespective of the fact I had a printed reciept in my hand, For 15 minutes she insisted on a credit card swipe to pay for the room. It was only after a collegue interviened and pointed out the room had actually been paid for that she relented, with not even an apology. Secondly. I was overcharged at the bar being confirmed by ordering the same drinks the following night which was £1 20 less. The bar staff had no interface skills at all without even so much as a thankyou or sir/madam approach, what a sad reflection of youth and bar manager control. Thirdly, there was that much noise in the corridor untill three in the morning I had to get out of bed and to stop people shouting at there children in an ajoining room, a bad experience all round considering I travel significantly in my job.

Excellent value room for £30. Attractive hotel. Not a complaint, but could not figure out why there appeared to be no lighting in the room until I phoned reception and learnt that I needed to put the door card in the slot. Not everyone would know this so a note above there would be useful.

Good hotel with great facilities. The reviews seem to suggest that the reception staff were poor and unfriendly. I didn't find this and was pleasantly surprised.

Decent accommodation in reasonable price. To get the minimum room price, you will have to book online. They cannot give you cheapest price if you just turn up.

The reception area was good and the fact you could have free tea and coffee with fruit and/or biscuits during your stay was fabulous. The tv set into the wall was a good idea and very modern. Some kids were using the extremely long corridors to run up and down which spoilt it really and why people have to talk really loud in the corridor after midnight I've no idea apart from that our stay was good.

Bog standard hotel. Clean & tidy Top quality Breakfast. Got a great reate from Booking.com Would have been very upset if I had to pay full price. Staff very unfriendly Room not ready when I checked in. Had to wait in very over-priced bar untill official checking in time. Still room not ready. Was reluctantly transfered to another room. apology or smile unavailable.

This hotel was extremely under staffed and the service was extreamly poor. We were rushed through the restaurant within 40 mins for a 3 course meal And for breakfast we were made to sit in another room in which nobody served us. The pool was very run down and changing rooms were not clean. Overall very poor!
