We were directed incorrectly to out room twice so did not get to our room until 20 minutes after checking in. This upset us a bit as we had been travelling all day and it was rather late. Also the breakfast was very dissapointing, we were directed into the restaurant alone to find there was no where to sit and no one to assist us. There was not alot avaliable on the hot section so we took what was avaliable however once back at the table we realisaed that the eggs were very undercooked. |

the bar area was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful when any problems arose there were no biscuits available in reception and also at breakfast ,,fresh fruit and cereal ran out and there was a very long wait for hot food at this time. This has been the same situation both times I have stayed |

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, well staffed, so that we didn't have to wait for beverages etc. It was good to have complimentary tea/coffee etc available. The place was nice and quiet despite being busy. Whilst we appreciated that the price for the room was excellent, we felt that the deco of our room was tired and there were stains etc on the carpet, the bathroom was very mildewed and the overflow in the bath was very dirty. We could see that rooms in other parts seemed to be more recently refurbished, so we might have been unlucky. |

Beautiful grounds, good facilities. Reception said pool would be open until 10pm, last entry 9.30pm, but we were denied access by Pool attendant a little after a 9.15pm. What a shame as the pool was a reason to book this particular hotel. |

It was very relaxing and comfortable, eventhough it was a large busy hotel you could easily relax. Would definately visit the hotel again. |

The cleanliness and comfort of the room Would have been nice to have had a walk laid out so that non-golfers too could explore the beautiful grounds. Also the restaurant was pretty ordinary. |

A hotel in a quiet location with no noisy guests. Bar food arrived quickly and was value for money. Check out time a little early at 9.30am and car parking can be a premium. Some guests may not be happy with the additional charge for credt card payments. |

Good restaurant for evening meal.nice reception/ internet points/ complimentary drinks downstairs. Inability to open windows and room far too hot, on a warm summer evening.Missed having a lounge to relax in that was not also a bar/ tv area.- would be willing to pat more to have this. |

Friendly, helpful reception staff. Good Location. Nice comfortable rooms. I liked the free coffee points and the relaxed atmosphere. It is clearly geared to the conference market but it makes a good base for a weekend break. the leisure club was clean and not intimidating with nice staff and had great facilities. we enjoyed our stay the breakfasts were limited, especially on the first morning. we must have timed it wrong as there was little cooked breakfast available- especially as we are vegetarians - there was slightly more choice on the second morning. we felt the breakfast was expensive- other than that it was great |

The first room we were offered had not been prepared. The queues at breakfast were very long and the gym/pool are at some distance from the hotel |

Was how genuinely friendly, helpful & polite all the staff were at all times in all the areas, Reception, Dinning Room, Bar & Pool area, that was a real pleasure. Free Coffee in several areas of the hotel & free internet was great we could still chat to our family and friends. Large TV screens around the hotel. Bedrooms - having just couples in one area without babies and children running around as we found we were being woken up in the night by these. This was reported to reception. Breakfast & Dinners – more variety for vegetarians and meals to be a little cheaper for non business guests (as guests like us can not claim these back on business expenses). |

We had three rooms close together which exactly met our requested specifications. Thank you. We rang and asked to make sure that the menu in the 'restaurant' was suitable for a 70th birthday celebration meal. The food was perfectly adequate but the menu and environs wasn't 'upmarket' in the way we were given the impression. |

The attitude of the staff particularly the lady on reception, the manager overseeing the restaurant and the lady who brought our food into the bar area no except we booked a twin but got a double and the hotel gave us a 2nd double at no extra charge. |
