Everything was perfect
Staff were very helpful
Good location for city and tube, quiet and attractive area
Used soap and shampoo in shower cubicle. Chaotic breakfast in room too small for number of guests. Very impersonal feel to the place
Shower difficult to operate. No safe...no air conditioning.
The location was good and it was good value for london.
It was very noisy outside, i.e. traffic all night. Also our neighbouring hotel guests were extemely loud and thoughtless, i.e banging about and talking loudly at 6am!
The location (near to Hyde Park and great access to public transport). Nice surroundings.
We stayed in the room just next to the breakfast room so it was quite noisy in early morning. The breakfast wasn't so good and could be improved. The mattresses were too soft for us, but this is only our personal preference.
Too warm in basement room with no air con and window didn't leave fresh air in because it faced lean too room.
position friendly and helpful staff price room
No air conditioning in the rooms however fans were provided
The hotel will not store your luggage at all. They don't have a room for this. I was given the worst ever room I've seen. It was on lower ground floor, with windows overlooking a pit, where the hotel stored bags full of rubbish - you may imagine what kind of smell you may hear when you try to open the window.
Rooms too small .
Great location - 5 minutes from Paddington Station. Full English breakfast! Staff very helpful. Fan and British adapter available for 10Euro deposit. Room below ground and next to breakfast room, but was very quiet. Bathroom was modern.
Double bed was against the wall. Missed my German hand held shower.
Great location, a very short walk to Hyde Park or Paddington Station. We really liked the neighborhood (quiet street, lots of places to eat/drink nearby). The staff was very friendly and the wifi worked great. Our room was nice (but the bathroom was a bit small). Our family of five enjoyed our stay at the hotel. I think it's an ideal place to have an affordable room and be very close to the tourist sites of London.
Our biggest complaint is that our room was very hot. We did borrow a fan from the front desk which helped a little. Minor dislikes include the bathroom (too small) and we didn't think the breakfast was very good (but it's free, so can't really complain).
Breakfast quite delicious.
Room was in the third floor and need to get up by stairs everyday , such a tired. Room was too hot as there was no fan or air condition.
Proximity to the park which was the reason for our visit to London. Competitive price Close to tube station Lovely staff
The heat in the room in warm weather The stairs with no lift - 4th floor for 3 bed room Bathroom was extremely small
Proximity to Paddington Station (Heathrow Express) and other areas of London I wanted to visit. Excellent value for money - free WiFi worked perfectly; excellent breakfast.
Felt a little cramped but for cost being really picky. Breakfast was cold
Nice Location and breakfast
Room is small
Nice people and breakfast
The hotel staff that dealt with me when checking in and checking out were very helpful and polite. The staff at breakfast were also polite. My room was clean and had everything I needed although I didn't spend much time in the room aside from sleeping.
Having breakfast included with my stay was nice but the serving was rather small, consisting of one small sausage, 2 eggs, a small portion of beans and sometimes only 1 ration of bacon. However toast and cereal are also available for you to help yourself.
Good clean rooms and friendly manager and other staff.
Our welcome was not very nice after a long tiring journey from Thailand.
The staff especially Alfred was helpfull
Very friendly welcome, comfortable room, basic but good value.
Steep climb to the top floor.
Great breakfast 24hr reception really helpful as we didn't check in until late Location was just a short walk from Hyde park Very clean bathroom
Distance between desk and bed is too narrow.
The ease of getting there and the choice of places to eat close by was outstanding. We were in London for a concert in Hyde park, so the location couldn't have been much better and any staff we met were very friendly and helpful.
Really only one thing and I'm not sure if it's this site or the hotel but having to pay everything up front and no option of refund (that I could see) if plans needed to be changed.
