we loved the location and the building, arriving was like coming home to family , there was nothing mor you could ask for , even hot fresh cooked biscuits on arrival
knowing that at some point we would have to leave
Thank you for a wonderful stay in your home. We were very well looked after and the kids had a fab time and were also made very welcome. Would love to come back in the summer to fully appreciate this wonderful home. Thanks again and happy new year to you both xxx
Rosie and William were truly fantastic, they have done everything they can to make your stay special, and they have succeeded, in every way. The Mill is magical, and has such a charm about it.We will definitely be going back in summer for a short stay to see how it looks in the sun. Very highly recommended.
The full English brekky the first morning and AWESOME American pancakes the second day; the beds, the shower...absolutely everything
It was all completely lovely
Rosie was very accommodating, and made me and my family feel very welcome. She had even purchased a bed guard especially for my 3 year old which was very thoughtful. Breakfast was delicious. Thanks to you both x.
We stayed here for one night and it was truly wonderful. Rosie and Bill made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean and had all you could want. The breakfast was very tasty and well presented. We loved it and will definitely stay here again. Thanks Rosie and Bill.
Hosts very friendly and helpful. Great location for local sights and in a lovely village.
Such a lovely welcome from the owner who looked after us so well throughout our stay. In a beautiful village with a castle to explore and village pub for tea. Within easy distance for so many attractions for young children. The whole trip was wonderful
Very friendly, very well appointed, very good breakfast and very convenient for Stourhead
Very hospitable hosts. Very quiet location. Excellent facilities especially use of the lounge. Excellent breakfast. Can't be faulted!
Nice friendly staff, and a very good home made bread for breakfast.
Warm, friendly, welcoming hosts, beautiful, spotlessly clean house, lovely comfortable room, excellent breakfast. A perfect place to stay and relax.
After travelling around Europe staying in hotels ,it was such a great fined ! Hospitality was incredible, above board ! It's a must for your bucket list to experience Country hospitality at its best . We will come back for shore when we come back to U.K. Corinne , Australia
we loved the breakfast and the room and the area was nice
There wasn't a lock on the door that we stayed in and it just made us feel vulnerable while we slept, as we had never been before, it made me lose some sleep
I liked everything specially the hospitality and the delicious unique breakfast. The hosts are great and kind, the place gave me a homely feeling. I could go a lot longer describing how excellent my experience was, but nothing like trying it your self.
Nothing everything was perfect.
Honestly what's not to like. Rosie and Bill, perfect hosts, very welcoming, the room (not the family room), absolutely lovely, bed was very comfortable, breakfast freshly cooked, using a mix of home grown and locally sourced products, and the home made bread is to die for. Couldn't fault anything. The location is very quiet, but the village is beautiful and so is their garden. We only booked for one night, after a trip to longleat and were very impressed with the location. In summary then, this was the perfect end to a perfect day. We would definitely return. One other point I must mention, relates to the George hotel, in the village. We wanted an evening meal and Rosie recommended the hotel restaurant and very kindly phoned them to see if they were able to fit us in. Happily they were and we had a lovely meal along with some decent beer. All in all, for the whole evening and night we would award 5 stars.
We were unable to find fault with any aspect of the stay.
The very friendly and helpful hosts, particularly the male host who was so obliging, a really pleasant person. Loved the comfy bed and excellent bathroom facilities. Beautifully presented in every way, lovely location.Excellent meal in local pub, nice staff.
A wonderful welcome started our visit and it just got better. Freedom to make yourself feel at home in this beautifully restored property offered us a most welcome break. The food was excellent and we're sure we will never taste bread as good as Rosie's until we make our return visit!!
As walkers the location was not brilliant and would recommend if staying here having the use of a car. This would ensure that you do not miss out on the many nearby places of interest to visit.
quiet location, beautiful view of garden, comfortable accommodation, friendly service, strongly recommended...
dinner pre-book only...:-(
The very friendly and helpful hosts Rosie and Bill The location of the mill was perfect for walking into the village and country walks The lovely garden and grounds with the sound of the stream running past. Excellent breakfast Lovely room, everything perfect.
Lovely B&B. Great quality and comfort. Certainly deserves it's 9.9 review status. Best feature .... home made biscuits and tea on arrival!
Noticeably relaxed atmosphere. The owners dined with us the first night, so more like a house party
Everything was great. Rosie was a wonderful host, the food was great and the location idyllic. The village of Nunney was a quaint and lovely village to have a B&B located.
We had the blue room on the first floor, seemed recently refurbished: a beautiful shade of blue wallpaper, new bed and some simple antiques.. a small room but you have everything you need. Very, very clean. Best English breakfast ever! Bill and Rosie most welcoming and thoughtful. Many Thanks for a wonderful stay!!! We loved Nunney village as well.
