Location was very central and right near waverley station. The apartment itself is right next to the royal mile and quite quiet. It was clean and freshly renovated (don't be fooled by the exterior building) very comfortable - nice to come back there in the cold night! The owner was very kind and accomodating. |

The central location, large rooms and comfortable beds. There is only one loo! Although there are two showers it was difficult with only one hand sink and loo. The entrance gives a very bad impression - the door had been kicked in and the stair well was dirty but the apartment itself was modern and well decorated. I am from Edinburgh and used to these tenements and their nuances but I think this may be a disappointment to foreign tourists. |

We stayed here for a couple of nights. On first arrival the building looked very run down the hall way and lift were in need of a make over but this has nothing to do with the Apartment. Once inside it was truly lovely the location is excellent and we will be returning soon perfect place to stay. |

I think the location is great as it is right in the city centre. The building itself and the staircase looked dodgy. |

Apartments are new and very nice. Location is great. Entryway and hallway dark and dingy. No smoke detectors, fire alarms, or fire extinguishers - one way in and one way out. |

The rooms were decorated nicely, and were comfortable (provided the sun is shining and not cold outside). 1) The heating would not come on until 12am - to be blunt, I was completely freezing cold all night while I got changed after work, watched some tv and ate my dinner - not acceptable! This is not budget accomodation and to have been so uncomfortable due to cold having paid £80 a night I was extremely annoyed. 2) The lock on my door was dodgy - on the first night I took me over 20 minutes to get out of the appartment due to a dodgy yale lock making it difficult to unlock. After starting to panic realising I couldn't call hotel staff or other guests, and realising the only way out was a 3 storey jump, I finally managed to pull the yale bolt back far enough to open the door - again not acceptable. |

The appartment was very handy for shopping, eating and sightseeing - comfortable and well equiped - nice to put your feet up and enjoy a cup of tea after a shopping trip. The windows were not soundproof so it was very noisy at night - nightclubbers, police and ambulance sirens till 4am then the street cleaners came out about 5.30 - if you like a good night sleep this is probably not a good option - the bed was very comfortable so fine if you want to sleep in the daytime. |
