Southside Apartments at Staybirmingham

I liked the location and the space inside the apartment.

The heating/aircon or lack of it was a bit poor, it got very warm in all the rooms.

central location ,value and very comfortable.. definitely staying there again next month

Good city centre location. Quiet and secure. Good facilities in kitchen for preparing our own meals.

Handles broken on kitchen and bathroom doors. Soiled extra duvets in wardrobe. Blinds broken and generally the apartment looks like it is not being maintained properly.

Location, easy parking

Missing 3 light bulbs in the room and despite mentioning this from arrival, this was not rectified during the 3 days of our stay. Lighting in general not good, especially in bathroom. Also living room smelt of cigarette smoke. Shower curtain over bath did not prevent bathroom from flooding

It took 5 attempts and much walking to and fro before the cvorrect room was found. Staff were unaware of which rooms faced the internal courtyard which i specified. Some rooms had broken furniture which was poor

feel like home; value for money

I was given a 1 bedroom apartment.. after paying for a 2 bedroom apartment. I was then told there was a mistake made and that there is a sofa bed in the living room for the 2nd person. This was unaccetable. I did not find the receptionist helpful. The room was then discounted but the first offer was a discount of £20 only. I had paid £115 for the room initally. I was not happy with the servie.

Gut und voll eingerichtet

1. Appartment kein warmes Wasser, mussten am 2. Abend umziehen, trotz Info an Reception (keine Duschmöglichkeit, erheblicher Zeitaufwand für Umzug). Im 2.Appartment war es sehr laut (kein Fenste r öffnen)der Wasserhahn im Bad + Küche locker und nicht mehr abstellbar (ständiges Wasserlaufen). Der Wasserkocher funktionierte nicht. Aufgrund dieser massiven Mängel wäre ein Preisnachlass angebracht
