Location, facilities of apartment, was train access to London, price
Very close to Hayes and Harlington railway station and a short(ish) taxi ride to Heathrow with a taxi office virtually on the doorstep.
Finding your way into the residential complex and then to the StayCity apartments is a little awkward if you're unfamiliar. It's perhaps not quite as close to Heathrow as you might expect, but it was still only a 10-15 minute taxi ride, albeit early morning with no traffic.
Friendly staff, good facilities, clean n close by to train stn n town.
WiFi could hv been better
The apartment had everything that was needed. The rooms were modern, well equipped, bright, and clean (as shown in the website photo's). The staff were very polite and helpful. Tesco's express next door and an alternative car park opposite the building. A great value for money, great experience! (Val & co, Birmingham)
I read the reviews beforehand so I was aware that finding the reception entrance might be a challenge. I rang the reception before travelling and they gave very precise instructions on how to find them. Signposting is very poor so I can understand where there could be frustration. There are two entrances to the building. 1) From the railway station exit, turn right. There is a walkway between the station boundary and the car park. Go up a flight of stairs then follow the path. 2) Facing Tesco's, walk to the left of the building. The main entrance is facing a fountain. This requires a card swipe/buzzer glass door to enter. Go to the 1st floor and then follow the path straight ahead of the lift door. Turn left at the end and the reception desk is on the right hand side. Its not as difficult as it sounds if you go prepared.
A family of four can fit in. Good price.
Difficult for some taxidrivers to find. Should have a big sign outside.
All requests has been met. Excellent secure parking at location. Very quiet room on 3rd floor. Managed to accommodate 6 of us in one apartment. Excellent wifi signal.
Rubbish in hallway next to lift area. Staff didn't give us a key fob to get in/out of hotel Incorrect postcode for the location on their website. Only got the correct postcode because I called them!
The cleanliness of rooms & helpful staff
Not a nice area & far from city centre
Very pleasant room to stay. The kitchen was clean and the staff were very friendly.
Apartment with 1 bedroom is big enough and ok for two people. The TV has a lot of channels. Travel to London by train, Paddington is about 20 mins.
The kitchen has only 2 hobs and 3 cooking pans. It is possible to cook, but you have to improvise a little. Entrance is difficult to find: take a left around Tesco and go to the glass doors opposite the fountains. Press the P button and they will let you in. Take the lift or stairs to the first floor. Go straight ahead and then to the left. Staycity is on the right (yellow sign).
Very nice and comfortable place. Very tidy rooms and nice decorations. Everything is close by from Tesco to a train station.
The apartment gets a but dirty yet you have to pay for cleaning. Travel to and from London was a bit lengthy but bearable.
Great place... public car park behind train station has very cheap rates. Very close to Heathrow. We stayed the last night of our London trip at staycity. A++
Too small for 2 adults 2 kids. Short stay only.
Close location to the airport. The apartment is clean, modern and comfortable.
Too far from London City.
Quick and smooth, hassle free check in (thank you for being one of very few!), friendly staff, mini kitchen, very practical apartment with plug sockets in the right places!, plenty of bedding plus extra pillows
Limited kitchen utensils, particularly for long stay, intermittent wifi, a bit expensive for the area, thin walls - could hear people talking in the corridors
A very good and nice accomodation.. Staff is very accomodating to tge guests, the appartment is very clean and cosy...
car part were full
Spacious , clean ,new
The staff good of had better communication skills and been a bit more clearer when talking .
Ms Urvashi went out of her way to help us.
They should allow longer initial parking on arrival for transferring luggage and check-in instead of causing panic of security cameras and rushing through the process which is particularly inconvenient when somebody is coming from ovearseas from a long haul flight.
It is about 5 miles from Heathrow T5 which is why I booked it for an overnight stop over before flying onto Zagreb the following day. It's £35 from T5 in a black cab, we used a local mini cab company going back to the airport the following day which only cost £15 & they're located close by the apartments. The apartment itself was clean & tidy with a nice little kitchen
Railway track runs right past the window & could be a pain in the beside for some people but it didn't bother us
ideal for what we wanted for a short time in November
The woft of pot smoke filling the hallway from next door and the front desk saying sorry about that..
it does what it said quite and comfortable and very nice place to stay thanks very much
The apartment was very comfortable and good value for money
Staff were not very helpful. I was very sick over night and had a dreadful night. I went to get some medication from Tescos and when i got to reception area thought i should get a drink out of the vending machine as i felt very dehydrated and dizzy. The vending machine kept spitting the money back out and when i asked at reception they told me to use different coins I tried using different coins but this didnt work. I told reception i hadnt been well and needed a drink. I sat on the sofa feeling very dizzy but none of the staff members had any decency to come over and see if i was ok I was very annoyed
My stay was amazing, the staff were very nice and helpful. The apartment itself was very nice and clean.
The cooking area was very small which was disappointing and the the actual location which the apartments are based in, was not very appealing so it gave a bad first impression but once entering the complex it was very nice
Stay was in serviced apartments, place was clean, reception was well staffed.
Area is not really a touristy area, but that can be a good or bad thing depending on point of view. Getting to the receiption is confusing.
The parking is £14 per night but free overnight if you park on high street. It is also quite a way when arriving from car to reception.
