Staymanchester-Laystall Apartments  

Came here for my birthday weekend with 5 other girls, was a great price for what we were after. Great location, walking distance to shops and bars. Staff friendly when we arrived, giving us the top floor apartment with great views of Manchester. Apartment was huge with 2 bathrooms, perfect for 6 girls sharing. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend.

Not really anybody's fault but the lift broke on our second night and we were on the 12th floor!! Bit of a nightmare getting down 24 flights in heels but somehow made it back up after a night out so not the end of the world.

Well sized apartment rooms complete with kitchen. Very good value.

One major downer sadly, and not the hotel's fault: some of these apartments sleep 4 which means if you get a noisy/inconsiderate group next door you may have a problem. We had this, but to be fair to the night receptionist, he did deal with it effectively - no less frustrating though!

The apartment was lovely, staff were really helpful and friendly, a great central location for trains and city center.

Great apartment, reasonably priced for the facilities. Really upbeat and friendly receptionist which made check in really smooth.

We chose the Laystall because its only a 10 min walk to Piccadilly Station. We have stayed there three times and always been satisfied. However we were a little bit dissapointed this time. The first appartment the patio door would not close or lock, but, to be fair they did give us another apartment which was lovely until we wanted a bath! There was plenty of hot water but the plug hole was so blocked up it took 45 mins for the water to go down before anyone else could have one!!!!! We reported on the same evening and also the morning of our departure so hopefully they will have sorted it out. It was only a technical hitch and we would stay there again and recomend it.

Excellent place, very quiet, friendly staff, excellent all round

Perfect location for 4 friends who meet up twice per year. We live across uk and seek central locations for accommodation. The laystall apartments in Manchester were ideal. Always seeking a brand I can trust (and remember) - stay has stuck in my mind as a trusted value brand and pleased to see you have many other city locations. The staff at Manchester were simply excellent, being very friendly and helpful and as professional as you would expect at a 5 star hotel. Without a doubt stay will be the first choice to search for in the next city we decide to meet in.

Parking was difficult

Refused to let other guests pay to stay in your own room which clearly had the beds. Very unhelpful, rude staff. Dirty apartments,very basic and not enough utensils,pots and pans to cook with. Hairs in the bathrooms when we arrived. Quilts and linen dirty. Would never use Stay City.com again or stay at laystall apartments.

We stayed at the apartments as we were staying for 3 nights. We were going to a ManCity match and we also wanted to shop and dine out. The location was excellent and the apartment on floor 8 was just the right size for 2 adults and 3 teenage children. The secure underground parking was a bonus and well worth booking in advance as it gave us peace of mind during our stay. The apartment was modern, clean and had everything we needed to cook light meals.It also had fantastic veiws of the city!
