Recently under new management and completely refurbished, this accommodation is an informal seaside retreat for your stay in Cornwall, whether it's for a long weekend, short break or annual holiday.

Family-run St.Bernards is home to 8 bright modern bedrooms all of which are en suite, with a generous amount of facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

With the town centre, beaches and transport links on the doorstep, whether you’re after action and adventure or rest and relaxation, St.Bernards is a convenient, warm, friendly place to stay. Off-road parking is available at a small fee if booked with room.

If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All further children under 5 years stay free of charge for extra beds.

All children from 5 to 15 years are charged 25 % of the room stay per night for extra beds.

Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Deposit

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.

Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.

Hotel information

With accommodation over 3 floors, the spacious stairways, modern dining and lounge facilities complement the bright, modern bedrooms.

With a bar, Wi-Fi, a Wii console, various board games and books, the lounge is the ideal place to relax. There are also many other facilities to suit all ages and activity levels. St Bernards even provide a photo processing and back-up service.

Food & beverage

The large, bright and clean dining room has a great atmosphere where you can enjoy breakfast at individual tables. All meals are freshly prepared using high quality, and where possible, local produce. Staff are happy to prepare picnics and takeaway lunches for you.

The lounge is equipped with a bar which is stocked with a large selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks all at reasonable prices.

8 bright, modern bedrooms are all en suite and have personal room keys with unrestricted access.

It was in a perfect part of newquay, out the way so it was quiet at night but a 30 second walk to the shops. and the owners were so nice too!

Beautifully renovated hotel and located very centrally, very friendly and helpful couple running the guesthouse.

It would be beneficial to highlight on the website that the lounge is only available at certain times, we booked with a young baby and thought the lounge would be available at all times so that we had bit more freedom than always being in the bedroom when in the guesthouse.

The location of the hotel was bad - it was on busy street. Could not leave window open at night - it was too noisy. Room was very hot. The sink is in the room and there was a terrible sewerage smell. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. We left a day earlier because too uncomfortable - did not get a refund. Will never stay there again.

The staff were lovely and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, and the room's were clean.

We were unaware at how small the room was, and with 2 large suitcases, it was difficult to manover ourselves around the bed.

Efficiently-run and very stylish for a resort B and B. Owners are helpful but unobtrusive and clearly go out of their way to create a pleasant atmosphere. St Bernards would be my first choice for a return visit.

The en-suite shower was very small, but fine for average-sized people!

Staff very friendly and helpful, good value, nice modern room and good facilities (lcd tv in room with freeview and you were able to lend a dvd, playstation and games etc) Excellent location, right in the centre.

Shower was a bit cramped and not very powerful.
