The welcome of the staff. The wonderful spa facilities. The luxurious bedroom and sumptious bath facilities, with a beach view and balcony. The excellent sea food menu in the cliff restaurant overlooking Saudersfoot Harbour. It made our ten wedding anniversary so special. We will definitely be going back to stay again.
There was nothing to not like.
All of it
Superb weather made our short stay even more enjoyable.Day visits to local attractions such as the Dylan Thomas experience in Laughern , Pembroke Castle and Tenby were all satisfying and pleasant.
Cost of rooms and main meals too expensive.
Location, staff, breakfast, infinity pool, bar area, sea view balcony, complimentary water & fudge on arrival
Noise pollution from extractor fan?bedroom walls too thin, as could hear next door all night!
Staff friendly Room average nothing special. Fantastic view. Quiet spa
Food overpriced Given a disabled room and not wanted one . Room overpriced.
Perfect location. Good friendly staff.
Quality service at a quality hotel
Thermal spa was heaven particularly the view over the edge of the infinity pool.
Needed to provide a pool so that children had the facility to swim
Liked the location, views, facilities and rooms, great stay.
Constant noise from extractor fans from other rooms whilst staying in room 208, could not sleep due to other rooms leaving the fans on all day and night.
All of it
The position,view,spa,food and outstanding staff.
Saundersfoot has a very good beach but the town is a bit down market and full of tatt.Tenby is far superior.
EVERYTHING WAS SUPERB! FAULTLESS!
Outdoor spa pool with views over the beach and harbour was breath taking. Food excellent. Rooms with a sea view are a must to just sit and soak up the amazing views.
Excellent attentive and efficient staff, particularly at dinner and breakfast service. Room facilities excellent and clean, turn down service in evening includes extra attention to detail. Spa facility and view from pool amazing
wi fi access/signal poor within hotel even though we were given access code free of charge.
the laid back relaxing atmosphere
lacking a complete private business centre, there is always work to do even on vacation. Hard to do siting in the lobby.
Very professional and friendly staff on hand to help, outstanding views from the restaurant and breakfast was very tasty. Public areas of the hotel and very well presented.
Me and my partner only live up the road from st brides and we thought as our son was with his grandparents for the night we would treat ourselves. The room was nicely decorated but not exactly what we expected for £165. It was dark and small located round the side of the hotel, we found the bed uncomfortable and it was so hot in the night, there was no air con and we didn't feel happy leaving the sliding doors open as we were on the ground floor, anyone could of got in. I would return to st brides but only for food, definitely not accommodation - for this price you can get a nice sea view room in this area.
Very comfortable bedroom. Well appointed hotel. Stunning views from dining room and decking areas.
Some of the staff in the restaurant were below the standard I would expect for a hotel that promises much. We asked a receptionist to book us an outside restaurant on one evening - this was not done.
thermal facilities, breakfast, location, bathroom
room a little small and Aircon would be good
The hotel overall is great and I would go back despite one or two glitches that occurred during our stay.
The massage I had was disappointing. In my opinion the therapist lacked experience. Such a shame as the spa facilities and ambience are excellent and as the hotel is a spa hotel.
Location, locatoion Facilities, the food, the Staff.
Long wait for breakfast and having to cook my own toast....not good enough! :(
Restaurant - excellent meals
No sun umbrellas outside
The calming ambience of the surrounds. The quality service and high standards in all areas. Friendly staff and excellent food.
Room 102 whilst being of a superb standard was overlooked by chalets next door. The cheese board was served cold would have been better at room temperature. Minor things didn't spoil any time at st brides.
Excellent and friendly service. Asked for a few special things and got positive responses every time. Good restaurant which is replicated for room service. Great views over the harbour. Fast and reliable wifi in the room. Rooms serviced to a very high standard as soon as we left the rooom in the morning, even if we had a lie-in they waited for us. We were never pestered at any time for any reason.
At £200+ per night far from a major city this is not a cheap hotel. The spa pool is not realy a pool. Quite seriously I have been in larger jacuzzis. This means you have to book a time slot each day. That was a shame. After a day out walking it would have beeen great to pop into the pool at our leisure and not against a clck. Every single person in the pool commented on the publicisty pictures being somewhat misleading. Admittedly the pool is an infinity pool and it does have a wonderdul vista.
