Very helpful reception staff. Very polite breakfast waiter. In room 208 the window cannot be closed properly therefore the room is noisier and cooler than other rooms.

The hotel staff were friendly yet professional, and the breakfast service was superb - the dining room was quiet yet there were 4 or 5 staff on hand providing a speedy response to any requests. The cold table at breakfast offered an excellent choice in addition to the various cooked breakfasts which were available. The evening meal (which we opted to eat in the bar) was also reasonable value and the girl in the bar was very friendly and provided good information on the area.

The way we were treated by the staff especially by the lady who did everything but cook the food (she said) we were served really quick at meal times and I was most impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms. The bar staff were very attentive and the toilet area in the bar loungs was exceptional. This is a hotel that delivers great value for money and it is about the right size which provides customers with quality and I wished that I had been staying longer and would go back. The hotel is within walking disatnce from the train station which is great for travellers.

Excellent breakfast, Good room, pleasant and friendly staff and management in town centre close to everything. Only on street parking, bar was very quiet in evenings, could be seen as overpriced for facilities provided.

Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Hotellet är enkelt men trivsamt, rummen är fräscha och I bra ordning. Mat och frukost är enkelt men vällagat och välsmakande. WiFi finns bara på första våningen och hotellet saknar egen parkering.

Pretty basic, but did the job. Walls in rooms are paper thin to the point that you feel guilty when making calls in the evening as you can hear other people so they must be able to hear you. Service at breakfast was pretty poor, two young boys seating you at tables that aren't clean and have cereal over them, forgetting mine and another persons coffee and sorting cutlery by throwing them into piles for other tables and making a racket. You have to remember though that it's the far North and remote part of Scotland and as such the pace of things is a little slower. It wasn't a bad hotel, just needs a few things worked on.
