Really lovey place with beautiful grounds.
Really lovey place with beautiful grounds. We stayed one night with our dog en route to Fishguard for our ferry the following day.
We were made very welcome by friendly staff and our room was lovely. We had a lovely dinner in the dog friendly room in the bar and a great breakfast too! Would def recommend, couldn’t fault anything and very good value for money.

Newport is a lovely small village with beautiful walks and a wonderful beach just 3 miles away. There are several very nice places to eat with several more just a few miles away.
It's also an excellent base for trips to Tenby, St David's and Pembroke.

Our three night stay with my parents in law at Duffryn was exceptional. The farm and the self contained accommodation of 2 double bedrooms living area and 2 bathrooms plus a private patio was stunning as were the views of the Pembrokeshire coast. Our lovely host Sally went above and beyond welcoming us with tea and a homemade lemon cake. The “welsh continental” breakfast served in her beautiful kitchen was delicious- local ham, cheese, bread, fruit and cereal and even homemade marmalade. It was a very special weekend. Thank you Sally!

Newport beach and town is 5/10 minutes from the property. Parog is quite close, 2 minutes by car or 15 minute walk and highly recommended, very pretty with good free car parking. Lovely walks along the coast and also estuary. Nice little café in Parog and quite reasonable prices. Well worth a visit and a favourite of ours. Fishguard is about 15 mins by car from Parog. Lovely part of the coast to explore. Llys Meddyg is a nice restaurant - excellent Sunday Lunch (best ever)

Beaches are fabulous.. In Newport itself lots of shops etc.. If you are further out is a bus service to get you to places though it's then a good walk down to the beaches abd obviously a good uphill walk back up.. There are carparks though the smaller ones get full close to the beaches when it's decent weather..
A lovely house. Very nicely decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean. Good location just 3 miles outside Fishguard. Extremely well equipped. A shame we were only there for 3 nights. Strongly recommend The Catch for fish and chips which is in Dinas Cross - best eaten on the local beach and The Canteen in Newport for Pizza. For a full house it would be extremely good value but there were just two of us - a lot of space for 2!
Easy parking at the side of the hotel, reserved for guests. A short walk to a gorgeous bays with magnificent views. Tastefully decorated room and modern bathroom. Very nice and helpful staff and you must book dinner in the restaurant there. A lovely room and very good food with original choices for the more adventurous; great staff!
A lovely small hotel, filled with fresh art and nice touches. I liked the insulated little churn of milk, the fact they provided bottled water, wine glasses and a cork screw. There was plenty of tea and coffee and hot chocolate. The bathroom was impressive with a deep, comfortable bath and nice toiletries. An excellent breakfast too.
What a beautiful setting and fabulous hosts. Very personable and friendly. Highly recommended!
Gorgeous house, which has recently been renovated. Deco and style carefully thought through and beautiful. Amazing views of the coast and countryside and only 5 minutes drive into Newport.
The continental breakfast was also delicious 👌
Quiet and peaceful, great location and only a short walk to Newport Beach. Spacious family room. Able to park the car outside the room. Fabulous evening views (weather permitting) Sitting outside as the Sun Sets across the sea having a local Ale. Links golf course. Very pleasant conversation with the owner.
The location was great. Newport is a quaint village near the sea. The property is kept to a high standard and looks to be newly renovated. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly. We would stay there again!
What wasn't there to not like, the staff were very helpful very welcoming... Hotel is very warm cosy with openfire..... beds so comfy etc, food from breakfast to dinner amazing...
Very cosy pub ... 👌
We would definitely recommend go back.👌
Every single detail about it. It is so cozy, clean and spacious. Breakfast in PJs in your room ☺️
Delicious breakfast with granola, warm croissants and bread.
Location in Newport, many hiking trails.
We would like to come back one day.
Quaint Welsh country hotel. Booked this by mistake thinking it was in or near the much larger Newport in Wales. Very glad we made the mistake. Very good restaurant and breakfast in a country atmosphere.
This was one of the four places we have stayed in during our trip to Wales, all in a similar price range. It is by far the best and nicest place we have stayed - by a country mile.
Spotless, excellent decor, location perfect for Newport and the wider pembrokeshire region. Right on the coastal path. Host was excellent, good communication. Breaky was amazing
Location ideal for us as my daughter lives locally
Newport town and the beach nearby both delightful
Would recommend cafes in Newport especially Blas at Fronlas and PWNC
The bar and restaurant facilities were excellent, both in respect of the staff and quality of the food served. Parking was convenient, and easy access to the hotel.
Charming hotel with a great pub. Very good breakfast. Managers made every effort to accommodate our requests. Room was very spacious and clean. Highly recommended.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I really appreciated knowing about the path to Newport so that I could avoid the road. Breakfast was fabulous.
