'Free' mineral water, teapot and coffee maker. Spacious room. One is able to open the windows fully. The small things let this hotel down 1) Overpowering smell of cheap air freshener 2) No suitcase stand 3) 2 hangers - only 2 more provided when requested! 4) Missing light bulb, room light levels poor 5) Mattress extremely hard 6) Poor quality duvet cover 7) Wifi free but signal poor, had to stand next to the door to log on! 8) The net curtains are almost black with dust - how often are these washed?

Bed was comfortable The room was dirty, the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, and the whole room decor was dark and dingy. Very dated and overpriced gloomy hotel.

We checked in and our room was on 12th floor which was a building site. Dirt and dust everywhere. Asked to b moved which seemed a huge ordeal for staff. Our new room the Showers were cold water, complained and nothing was done. 4 star ... No way. This is 3 at best. I will never stay in this hotel again. Shambolic. The location of the hotel is brilliant convinient to the shops. The front office staff were friendly. Avoid getting a room on the 9th floor (especially room 910) because the room is very noisy. I sounds like a lift is going up and down constantly. It makes a lot of noise which is rather disturbing and hard to sleep too.

Very good position, close to Oxford Circus. Nice room. The furnishings of the rooms would maybe need a little renovation... but the standard was more than acceptable.

We booked this hotel for my daughter and her boyfriend as a special treat before he goes overseas for the Marines. We used booking.com as the hotel, for some bizarre reason, does not have a secure booking web page. When they arrived they were told that they could not book in as the hotel room had not been paid for in advance. My daughter then had to contact her Father( who was in a business meeting) When he spoke to the receptionist to confirm his amex card details she said she could'nt take the details over the phone and that he would have to email the information to the hotel. All seemed very un-necessary and took a while to sort out. Apart from this they were very happy with all the hotel offered.

Very well located , near Cavendish square, Regent st. 10 minutes walking from Soho or Charlotte st. Hotel is not being maintained properly. Rooms are ok, but old fashion. The sin and the shower were not evacuating properly. Breakfast is expensive for what is served. Better-off going outside the hotel, there are few places whereyou have better food for less money.

Location is fantastic with Parking right out front much cheaper than the two nearest car parks - booking required. View from the 15th Floor Bar and Restaurant. Reception Area and Breakfast not being included.

The Hotel staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. There was a noise problem in the Room assigned to me. I brought it to the attention of the staff, who on a voluntary basis, visited the room with me and immediately requested a change of room. A complimentary apperitif was also offered. St. Georges is highly recommended for its location, accessibility (3 mins. walk to Oxford St) and convenient local transportation. The hospitality, friendly, and competent staff. Love the location and transport facilities as well as the variety of restaurants in the area.

The location is great for exploring London and doing some shopping. The room had that I am not clean odour, even though the room looked clean. I think it was also time for a new lick of paint...especially the corridors.

Heating is seems to be old, its a little bit noisy and does not always work properly. But it does not make your staying a mess. I just suggest a marginal impovement if this is possible.

For english standard of a hotel, it's good. But don't expect any luxury. The location is perfect for shopping, traveling with the tube and the bus. It's free WiFi on the hotel, that'd just perfect. Recommend this hotel

Great view from the restaurant. Awesome location. Fast Lift. Nice spacious room Housekeepers coming to service the room too early in the morning (twice) when we were trying to sleep - you have a checkout policy and your housekeeping is not in line with it. Bathroom not in same standard as bedroom.

Despite previous guests experience we were surprised with quietness of the room (we stayed directly opposite to the lifts and have heard nothing during night. Staff was very friendly, they even let us check-in online and print our flight tickets from their computer as there was no computer and printer for guests. As also mentioned before, bathrooms need some refurbishment and also the overall hotel amenities don't reach four stars (I.E. no guest computer/printer as mentioned above).

St Georges was a great central location - walking distance to restaurants and clubs in Soho or Charlotte Street and theatreland on Shaftsbury Avenue. Historic Bloomsbury is a short stroll away. The hotel's bar on 15th floor has top views of the city lights and a romantic atmosphere. If you are using the hotel as a business base, be mindful that, like all hotels, the central lifts have a noisy hum if you are in the room during the day. At night they are fine.

Very convenient for access to shops and central attractions. Within easy reach of main line railway stations and comfortable. Initially disturbed by noise which was assumed to come from lift operation by other tenants of the building
