'Free' mineral water, teapot and coffee maker. Spacious room. One is able to open the windows fully. The small things let this hotel down 1) Overpowering smell of cheap air freshener 2) No suitcase stand 3) 2 hangers - only 2 more provided when requested! 4) Missing light bulb, room light levels poor 5) Mattress extremely hard 6) Poor quality duvet cover 7) Wifi free but signal poor, had to stand next to the door to log on! 8) The net curtains are almost black with dust - how often are these washed?

Location is good. Staff is nice Very noisy (not from the street but inside the hotel) you hear elevators, what happens in the hallways... Bad pillows, dirty curtains, dead batteries in tv remotes. Though the staff is nice, no idea on many many things, except for Ezra who was superb and new everything.WAY Way too expensive for what it is.Street at entrance not clean and the building is really not very nice. Stayed alone in a double room. Could t ve stayed

Location is really excelent. Staff is very efficient and check in and check out could not be quicker. Superior room is very confortable and equiped with everything you need. Hotel has 4 stars, but with the exception of the room it gives general impresson of having max 3 stars. No feeling of luxury. In addition curtains in (superior) room were really dirty.

Bed was comfortable The room was dirty, the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, and the whole room decor was dark and dingy. Very dated and overpriced gloomy hotel.

It was the most expensive and worse nights sleep I have ever had. I complained and it was not dealt with. Executive suites should not be placed near noisy lifts!!!

Reasonable rooms with good natural light & great views (unusual for London!) Fantastic location, close to Oxford St, Soho and several tube lines. Refurbished rooms a great; the other rooms are clean but a little jaded.

The location The bed was uncomfortable as mattress was old and hard. Felt the springs. On 9th Floor, could hear the lift going up and down until 2am Buzzing noise in the room was intermittent and kept me away. Didn't sleep much at all.

Good location. Fantastic views of London from 15th f;loor ( bar/ restaurant). Room clean and spacious, well equipped( we had three irons!!).Staff helpful and friendly, especially when we had problems getting into our room. So close to Oxford Street and theatreland. We didn't have breakfast here as too expensive - shame they don't review breakfast rates as it would be very pleasant eating breakfast with those terrific views! Parts of hotel need up grading but can see this has started to happen.

Location excellent for London theatre, shopping, easy walking distance. Very small entrance lobby. Breakfast rather expensive, would recommend popping out to any of several eateries on the doorstep for better value breakfast.

Convenient location. Very clean, nice room and spacious for London standards. Room was recently renovated with very nice bathroom. Superior Double room had daily water, newspaper and bathroom amenities provided. I would stay there again but would be careful of which room I am placed in. The building exterior and public areas were not what I expected. The hotel is located from the 9th floor and up and we had the misfortune of being in a room adjacent to the lift which services up to the 8th floor. As such, there was a regular (at peak times almost constant) rumbling noise which made it very difficult to rest or listen to the TV on regular volume. Thankfully, at night, it was mostly quiet. Over the 4 nights there, some staff would tell us that the hotel was full and we could not be moved, while others would just say "Oh, it's the lift" and leave it at that when we complained about the noise. We found the regular Double-size bed in our Superior Double room to be somewhat small given that the room easily had the available space for a Queen-size bed. Oddly, our son's Standard Double room had a King-size bed in it which left little space to move in the room.

Despite previous guests experience we were surprised with quietness of the room (we stayed directly opposite to the lifts and have heard nothing during night. Staff was very friendly, they even let us check-in online and print our flight tickets from their computer as there was no computer and printer for guests. As also mentioned before, bathrooms need some refurbishment and also the overall hotel amenities don't reach four stars (I.E. no guest computer/printer as mentioned above).

The location was excellent, just at the end of regent street. Strange noise that we put down to the lift kept us awake at times. Some of the decor needed to be sorted for example broken tiles in the bathroom and broken lights above the bed.

Price and affordability given that the location was at oxford circus, within 3 mins walk of the tube and near to the shopping areas. Room was spacious and comfortable with free Wi-fi. The hotel staff was also friendly and helped us to arrange for a cab to the airport when we left on boxing day as there was the tube strike going on. Booked cab also arrived on time despite the traffic jam in the area. Great for people who want a no frills, comfortable and convenient place to stay right in central London.

The staff were very helpful and friendly- Other than the room not being vacuumed when I first arrived, the room was amazingly clean there after (I had not mentioned anything to the staff), one of the cleanest I'd been in London. Fridge in room, big plus. Duct tape holding up window and wall (!!!) Kettle had scale (yuk) and then when I asked for clean one, was a huge fuss and guy went room to room to find cleaner one (though still not clean and said it was a thing where they had to call facilities, etc.etc.-- should have just bought some vinegar and done it myself. Several electrical outlets didn't work. Shower curtain on bottom had mildew because bath was forever backing up with shower- I hate standing in inches of water in the shower.

Very good location for where I was visiting The decor was very tatty, peeling wallpaper, chipped furniture and generally below the standard I am used to for central London hotels with this star rating. Allin all a bit beyond shabby and with very little chic. And if I was in a "superior" room , I hate to think how bad the standard ones were....

The location is excellent, very close to Oxford Circus and all the main tourist attractions. The room was very nice, with free internet on TV and a nice wireless keyboard.Though we didn't use them, there were coffee and tea facilities in the room, at users's discretion.
