Location was perfect
The hotel decor was tired.
Location and clean
poor wifi service (could not use), cold in bed at night as quilt was low tog and too small.
I liked helpful Staff in the front office. I enjoyed renovated superior corner room with a great view. Bed and design was very nice. Location is the best advantage of booking that hotel.
I dislike the price of the room. I know that a place has best location, but as everything in London, the cost of the accommodation is overpriced. I didn’t enjoy the breakfast. I was given two options: buffet with continental breakfast or traditional one. Both options were poor (however I liked the view from the restaurant which is situated on the 15th floor). Hall must be renovated. Internet works slowly or doesn’t work at all.
Over priced. In need of refurbishment. I would imagine this was an impressive hotel 20 years ago.
Location and BBC themed decor Great views
Needs tlc Tired and a bit neglected Needs refurb Not a luxury experience
Location and views!
Room space was excellent
Bathroom needs upgrading furniture tired looking
It is too expensive It is old building Room is cold because the air conditioner doesn't work!
Location is excellent and staff very helpful. Overall good value for money.
My bed was pretty unique with broken strings actually protruding through the mattress! Most amusingly, the guest before me had gone to the effort of filling out a comment card but the completed comment card was left on my bed inviting comments!
The room was really clean, comfortable and had every need catered for with mini bar, iron ironing board, safe, tea&coffee facilities, complimentary water, hair dryer. Really big room too. Location amazing too would stay here again!
We were disturbed every morning by cleaners or mini bar staff and at one point a guy walked in without knocking my husband had run to the shop for a moment so I was on my own.
Brilliant location, fantastic views.
Hotel could do with a little revamp, loads of potential.
The hotel is very well situated for Oxford & Regent Street.
The room was very tired looking, it was clean and tidy but could really do with updating.
It is close to Oxford Circus, easy to walk down the Regent Street to Trafalgar Square(10-15'), London Eye and Big Ben (30-40') or to Madame Tussauds (20'). Arrive from/to Luton airport by National Express bus, wich stops at Marble Arch (20' walk to the hotel).
Old furniture and iron window frames, but if you're not interested in luxurious rooms, it's ok.
Free wifi is a joke, very expensive hotel for what it offers
Heating very patchy
The waiter in the restaurant
The location. And the staff was very kind and friendly.
The wifi was inconsistant and because of that, have to change room.
In the centre
The wifi was to low
Staff Bar was awful and in need of redecoration and modernisation
Loved the position, very central. View from my room wS great. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Facilities very good.
Decor was dark, brown carpet, black furniture but I think the room is scheduled to be refurbished.
Looks tied and shabby
There was no porter to take our luggage up to the rooms, so we had to carry them, the hotel needs to be refurbished nd more attention needed to the quests
Good sized room
Cleaning noise from floor above at 6am, sound travel from next room etc
