St Giles Hotel Heathrow  

Majority of staff were rude and impolite! Cleanliness was atrocious! System was down in the hotel and so it took 1 hour and 30mins to check in! Room that I booked was not the room I was given! Junior suites are not available in this hotel!!! Apparently! Although are displayed in the reception. Do not ask consierge for taxi bookings! Catch the train from Feltham Station to waterloo then tram into London. Overall do not stay at this hotel!!!!

The suite we had was very comfortable and as my wife i drove away the first thing we said was that we would do it again.The location was perfect for our stay in Fealtham.Thank you again.

We found the room spacious and clean. The only (minor) complaints that we had were as follows; 1. the fact that only 2 pillows were on the bed, and as eldery persons we found it was uncomfortable. 2 The bedside tables were too far from the side of the bed which meant that to switch off bedside lights one has to get out of bed and then get back into bed in the dark. 3. When making tea or coffee the plastic spoons(?) almost melted and made it impossible to stir, A metal or more solid plastic spoon would be safer.

I was looking for a reasonably priced place near to transport to the city and to heathrow airport. This meet my criteria. It was a few minutes walk to the left of Feltham train station which I could use my oyster card to get to. I was able to get a bus to the airport (T4) within 15 mins at £2.30 - bargin! (Taxi approx. £15, shuttle bus approx. £8). The room had all the basics and was clean. Situated close to supermarkets.

The thermostat in my room was set high and was broken. Instructions to reach hotel fr town could be improved/clearly stated on the website as well as options/approx cost/times of getting to airport terminals

The staff did try to accommodate us when we requested to change rooms.

The bedrooms were not very clean and the room on the 9th floor was very hot and we were unable to turn the heating down. There was also an unpleasant smell when we first arrived.

The suite provided ample space.

We booked a suite but unfortunately the bed was only a double. In this type of room at other hotels we have stayed in, the bed was either a kingsize or superking or two single beds. Because of the size of bed we had to get out of bed to switch off bedside lights as the bedside tables were positioned for a larger bed. We had a disturbed and uncomfortable night's sleep and eventually I had to sleep on the sofa.

The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The extra vanity area for getting ready outside the bathroom was very helpful. It was a couple blocks away from the train station.

It took about 40 minutes by train from Waterloo station in London. The bus connection to Heathrow Terminal 5 (the reason we stayed there) didn't seem to run on Sunday when we needed it. If you are looking to stay here while on a visit to London, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. If you are only staying before flying out of Heathrow, it's probably okay.

The resturant was typicallly a madhouse for breakfast. Food needs improvement, very bland
