St Giles Hotel Heathrow    

I stayed here every time I need to be in London for business because of good location, value for money, spacious clean rooms and friendly helpful staff.

Nicely refurbished inside and goood value for money

My husband and I used this hotel due to its proximity to Twickenham rugby stadium, as it was a five minute walk to the train station then approximately ten minutes by train to Twickenham. I would definately use this hotel again when attending events at Twickenham.

Great location in tranmsit to France via Eurostar, from Heathrow. Also rented a car from there, cheaper than at heathrow

Convenient to Heathrow

Charge for wi-fi. We had never encountered this at a hotel before. Limited restaurant hours: suggest 24 hr service to accommodate needs of world wide travellers. Arriving at 9 45 p.m. we barely made diiner after travelling all day.

I booked it online for one of my guys to stay, but couldn't pay through booking.com. When Ricky got there, there was a queue to check in and when he got to the front, firstly they said that they couldn't find the booking even though I gave them the booking.com reference. When they eventually found the booking, they insisted that Ricky paid even though it was reserved in the company's name. I spoke to the (very rude) receptionist and said that I'd pay over the phone, but she said that the hotel's policy was that they could only take card details via Email, and not over the phone. I explained that I wasn't happy about Emailing my card details but they were completely inflexible. I ended up sending the details in a number of Email, but the Email address they gave us was wrong, we tried 3 no. Email addresses before we got it right. By which time, Ricky had been there for almost 2.5 hrs. Totally unacceptable.

Very friendly woman on front desk who helped book taxi for me

Room absolutely stank of smoke, couldn't run bath as thermostat was stuck on luke warm in bathroom. Very dissapointing.

Comfy bed and spacious room, very clean too. Price of drinks at bar were reasonable at £3 for a pint of beer. Bar staff very friendly.

Cost of breakfast was listed on my reservation as being £9.95 for full English. Across road in Weatherspoons it was £3.15p and Macdonald's was £3.99p for Big Mac + Coffee. Ice machine in corridor on floor 4 and floor 6 not operating.

Everytime I have stayed here everyone who works there have always been so polite and helpfull. I have stayed here for the rugby for the last 5 years because It's close to the M3 and with the train station its ideal to get to Twickenham. I inform all my mates to stay there when the rugby is on and too book well in advance as I always do every year.

Bed was not that comfy, so myself and my partner had a rough night sleep.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful even though the hotel was very busy. The room was clean, tidy and functional which is all you need for a quick visit. Bed was lovely and comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. I liked the privacy, the lack of noise even though we were close to Heathrow Airport. Breakfast was excellent and, as I have some mobility problems, the assistance extended was very, very good. I would really recommend this hotel for its closeness to Heathrow, its proximity to a fast rail service to Waterloo (30 mins) and its friendly, helpful atmosphere

I had the evening special meal and, while the service was fast and friendly, while the garlic mushrooms were tasty, the fried cod was overcooked. Apart from that food was very good and the wait staff terrific.
